So this is an retirement account since you can't touch it for another 20 years? If it is, pretty ballsy. Most people will tell you that you should NOT discretionary trade your retirement account ,and instead put it into a low yield mutual fund. I say that is good advice to 95% of the people out there, but if you know your way around stocks and investments...then putting money in mutual funds are terrible. It is like paying monkeys to watch your money...why would anyone pay good money to basically have a fund track an ETF??? For those that have a good strategy, they should take on more risk (especially when they are still younger), and make those 401k accounts into super trading accounts. I'm trading (not daytrading, but picking my own stocks) my retirement accounts too. It's great because you don't have to pay any taxes at the end of the year.
