  1. HPQ, MSFT, INTC all down significantly from Monday close but QQQQ is UP
no idea what that means, just an observation.

  2. That is a good observation. I wish I knew about the last few days. I am surprised that MSFT is not following QQQQ. Which stocks have been doing the pullup in QQQQ?

Shortie: with respect to EUR/USD. In case you are watching that market as per your recent interest, I have been offering 20K at 1.3187, and no one took it for 10 minutes now. I am alone on offer, and bankers lower their bid from 1.31865 to 1.3186. They care even for $1 (on $20K). Cheap people--- you can say I am also cheap for not going for 1.31865 but I am not a bank but only a little guy of the little guys.

Update: tired of waiting, so I moved my offer higher to 1.3197. I will not sell to stupid banks at their desired price. I would rather skip the trade than get taken by a cheap banker.

I am typing these numbers to also fool the robots.

  6. What are the job numbers, and how do they compare to expectations?
From the Dollar and Stock Market reactions, I am guessing they are below expectations.

  9. Implied volty in weeklies is lower than implied for later dates. People are not scared or they anticipate sleepy market for next weeks. Also dollar is now acting somewhat bullish. I think some smart money is doing the opposite of the reaction to news.

With regard to the dollar and today's numbers, how early are these numbers known (in terms of days)? Who knows them before their publication?
