Got to love the after hours pump job tonight after the close, all major etfs signaling a higher open tomorrow, hey maybe tomorrow is the start of a great september for the markets since everyone is downplaying it to be pretty bad.

Holding 17 ES contracts long on this spike. According to my understanding, the lows held. Very low risk buy. If bears break the 1045 area there will be serious outcry. It's a VERY important low to hold for the big big picture.

  6. The day's action was painfully obvious EOM window dressing after a truly awful August.
Well, painfully obvious to some, anyway.
Those positions now have to be unwound, of course. Just another in the thousands of reasons why the average fund manager underperforms the market.
One of the other of those thousands of reasons is seeing everything through a lens of bearishness/bullishness/politics, rather than trading what's staring you in the face.
Thank you for funding the market, though. Someone has to do it.

Nice start for the month of September which is usually the worst month for equities.

Futures steadily rose throughout the night and into the opening, now up over 1%. Seems when the market looks like its going to break out higher it falls apart and when its about to break support levels it rallies hard.
