I really believe that it is essential, and most helpful to use the Weekly Charts. In this way, a trader is able to remove all the daily volatility distractions. In fact, the Daily chart typically succumbs to the WEEKLY ( and monthly ) trends. And as we all know, the daily price changes have been so inconsistent the last couple of weeks that the only traders who have done well are the ones who were willing to ride out the volatitlity by focusing on the bigger, WEEKLY trends. "Sometimes its better to take a look at the whole Forest, rather than just the Trees, let alone the Bark on the Trees of that Forest!"
