Why didn't anybody do it then? And actually (just to keep it real), its far easier to build a new building from the ground up than it is to undertake and renovate a project like that. What he did there was impressive.
Face it bro... the guy makes things happen. Why is that so hard to swallow?

Huh? There is no shortage of real estate developers and all it takes a giant loan and guess where the loan for that hotel came from - Deutsche Bank who are in now Mueller's net.

    You remember what Bannon said?

"You realise where this is going…This is all about money laundering. Mueller chose [senior prosecutor Andrew] Weissmann first and he is a money-laundering guy. Their path to fucking Trump goes right through Paul Manafort, Don Jr and Jared Kushner…It’s as plain as a hair on your face…It goes through Deutsche Bank and all the Kushner shit. "

So yes, there maybe special reason why Deutsche lent him money so generously for this deal and others and we will know how someone who has failed on so many deals still continues to get shady funding.

So if he comes out clean after Mueller has finished his investigation then I would agree with you that he can make things happen without corruption.

Thats kind of a silly statement. "IF". If.... if ... if. It doesn't matter. If Zuckerberg had not parked his car in front of coffee-shop one day we'd never have Facebook. I mean now we are talking about "the butterfly effect". If Charlie Sheen had not been born to Martin Sheen, we probably wouldn't have heard of him. Ditto Dale Jr, Enrique Iglesias, Michael Douglas, Peyton and Eli Manning, Miley Cyrus....

Being born with money and a good set of parents certainly helps, but its no guarantee... it all comes down to the individual.

  4. Could be Trump (1) drank a beer behind the shed when he was a kid, (2) grabbed a woman by the pussy, (3) said "shithole" in public, (4) cheats on his wife. Lots of people would find that offensive to one degree or another. (I do a bit myself... but not "critically offensive" for a president.) However the intelligent among us would recognize Trump for what he is/isn't. He (1) is not a career politician where every uttered word is evaluated and "air brushed", and (2) has always "been the boss" in his world. That is, whatever he says, "goes". And if he says it with a swear word and you don't like it, TOUGH... he's still the boss. That's the guy who ascended to the presidency. What, you now expect him to couch every word for public consumption? He is what he is. You don't like it?... vote in his replacement. In the mean time, suck it up and hope he does well. A successful president who acts in the best interest of the country and our people (note how that excludes Odumbo)... is a benefit to us all.

We never heard such stories about Odumbo, so some would claim "he has class". Yet what I find CRITICALLY OFFENSIVE about him... is/was his constant effort to "harm America with every decision he made." That's NOT class (it's actually F'n TREASON).... to betray the trust of those who elected you and whose principles you swore to defend (aka, The US Constitution...)

Trump.... Drain The Swamp, stop illegal immigration, deport illegals, bring jobs back to America.... MAGA!!

Considering the opposition he's faced, his first year in office has been a significant success in my book.... still hoping he doesn't cave on DACA and the wall, of course. Then again, I could be viewing things through "rose colored glasses", as I truly want MAGA to succeed.

There's no doubt about it. The man doesn't give up. That Access Hollywood tape would have wiped out 10,000 of 10,000 other candidates for even a mayoral run.
Imagine how far we could go if 100% of America were behind him.

Such an epic point Vanz....... the funny thing is anyone whose worked as a trader knows you lose close to half the time, if your better than 60% its incredibly easy to make money. So im just doing simple math in my head here, if i was to average out my win rate at 60% on 5 trades per day, that means i lose on 2 stocks every day, multiply that by a trading year, (Roughly 200 days you work) that means i take 400 losers every year........ now multiply that by 14 years of trading, and ive got 2800 losers on my hands.......... I Guess i dont know what im doing. :D

This metric by Exgoper is hilarious, He would have been the same guy calling "Bain Capital" a failure when Mitt averaged over 70% returns for 2 decades. :D

Try working for a reputable prop fund or run a fund yourself, blow up a few times and then see how eager they are to fund you.

Trump's DC hotel has a occupancy rate of 40% as opposed to the average of 70%, some great success right?

Trading is about keeping losses small but iif you blow up all the time and then spend your career selling trading courses and telling everyone how great you are while running multiple scams - and then getting funding from shady sources while still underperforming, in what trading universe would that be considered success?

Nobody said Romney was a failure, in fact the attack was that he was too much of a success in his business which led to a lot of people losing jobs.

You never make any honest points, always the same simplistic talking points without an ounce of rationality.

Nobody is denying Trump has talent, he has tremendous talent to promote himself and sell crappy products but so do many evangelical preachers. Scamming others versus innovating and cashing your genetic talent are not in the same league, although I must say that Trump does come from a family of scammers. Going purely by social darwinism, Trump is indeed in his own league.

Everyone can see how you trade by going to your Super Terrific Thread and come to their own conclusions ...Where has anyone called Romney A failure when he ran Bain? Trump is or was successful at Branding, it will be interesting to see how well the Brand holds up after he's out of office.. Like Jerry he can try and sell his act to the Japanese, maybe they have changed their taste for Oranges, I'm sure $Matt can help with that. Stay Thirsty!
