I've been told online misinformation does not change people's opinions as evidenced by the 2016 election
Yup, and someone said that the explosion in Beirut was "an attack," that Mexico would pay for a Wall and that the U.S. has the best Covid testing in the world. When the person doing the talking is a pathological liar, it's best to smile and ignore them. They could be right, they could be wrong; the only thing you can count on is that they opened their mouth and moved their lips.
It's even more serious that that! pornhub is banned here! In fact all explicit material is a criminal offence and means jail time. Tossing someone in jail is much easier here, as its partly comes under administrative law , so technically called detention. Drive without a valid license an automatic 10 day prison sentence, can be up to six months for DUI, no court, no trial, away you go,
But the Chinese banned Google, Twitter, Facebook for national security concerns, said it was completely justified. Will start to do same in HK shortly.
Could be worst if you live in North Korea. Don't all governments say that...its because of National Security Concerns. wrbtrader
Interesting discussion... rational arguments under a national objective. We already had that some.time.before. Why don't you all let.your pants down and say openly, that you are nationalists... having an economical war going on, trying to o somehow not get owned by.the other party. Chin, USA, England, Etc.
That is not correct. The USA president is elected by the people through a democratic process. The president of China? Uh no. That's the difference. We are NOT the same. Even if the President of the US from now on decides to make all of the decisions unilaterally, it's still not the same because the President USA still represents the people.
