Does anyone know any chart sites (preferably free) that allows for three line break charts? I typically use pcquote.com but they seem to be having problems so I am looking for an alternative source.

    Thanks

    Hi

Do you trade by them or are you just interested in them?

I use them as an overall trend indicator, they tend to filter out a lot of whipsaw movement. They are tough to trade off by themselves since you may miss a large piece of the move.

Three line break charts (or three price break charts or line break charts) are a lot like p&f charts. Try this link for more info:

I use them set up on a weekly close to give me an overall view of what the stock is doing. If a reversal has just started (only one bar has been posted in the opposite direction) I know there could be a good chance that I am not too late to get into the move.

There isn't anything special about these charts, just another way to look at a stock's price action. Hope that helps.

I think Nison's page offers it for some amount of monthly fee.
