Yes he has. Nothing is just black or white. But by avoiding to pay it, one as well should ,,loose" the ability/right to complain about the lack of proper dental care & etc, since he/she is making no contribution.

Denmark has taxes up to 70%. No complains about things like that in there. Also the second ,,happiest" nation in the world (?)

It's not the wrong doing of goverment that i find problem with, it's the cover up of peoples own selfishness, dark motives & greed hidden behind the wrong doing of goverment.

Then you see him pre ordering that new cyber truck. ,, Why not, goverment would waste it anyways. "

Best thing tho. If ones brakes the rules, but respects the law, and still beats those who ,,makes" the rules yet brakes the law, that's an achievement.

    Good points.
WE sure don't want to OVERPAY on taxes, but USA founding fathers believed in limited gov, NOT no gov.
I like paying user fees on ammo\ if one does not buy ammo, he pays no user fee. ALL the state gov wildlife managers depend on that mostly, for funding...............................................................

Well, if you get rid of state and local tax, how will you pay for all of the services they provide? Police, garbage collection, water, electric, etc ...

It's a bit more complicated than that. The US federal system has layers upon layers of governments with federal, state, county and city, each looking to get paid through one tax or another. The system is slow and expensive, but it's meant to be representative. The alternative is a break up into various countries but we've been through that and the southern secessionist war has still to this day killed more Americans than any other wars the US has been in. Much like every other country in the world, we die killing each other far more often than at the hands of foreigners.
But I digress. US taxes are quite high if measured against the services we receive for paying them.

And if you're surprised with our layers of government, you should see how many authorities exist here with a right to carry a weapon and a right to fine or arrest you... it's unique.
Federal police, State police, county police, city police, Highway Patrol, Sheriff, Park Rangers, Train police, and then various private police forces for events and gated communities.... The irony is those same people willing to die for their freedom (I mean anti vaxxers) also over represent these many uniformed authoritarian forces. And I didn't even breach the huge number of Federal agencies with the same authority to fine or arrest you (FBI,DIA, CBP, ATB, IRS, ...)

Is a US server also useful if you cannot place your orders in advance on that server?
I am a discretionary trader trading at market price. So I cannot take advantage of a US server. When I push my button, I buy/sell at that moment at that price. Going from there to a US server which then transfers the order is slower then working without a US server I think.

The good point being made here is that "high tax" does not automatically make a place a socialist shit hole. Its the way those taxes are spent that makes all the difference.

Switzerland has high taxes relative to other countries but has magnificent services and schools etc. They spend their tax dollars intelligently.

Countries (and failed city/states like Chicago) that have astronomical taxes but then spend those funds corruptly, wastefully and inefficiently on stupid policies are the ones to escape from. California is another.

These states/countires are the majority, those who do it well are the exceptions.
Worldwide intrest rates have to stay low for years to avoid countries to go broke. And inflation should go up to reduce the debts (in buying power).

  9. For placing market buy and sells, you wouldn't get the benefits of optimizing fills and reducing slippage, because as you mentioned the same delay is there. With a server, it should only be about 1-2 ms slower than going order routing directly to your Chicago based broker.

If you were using Market if touch orders and simulated stop losses (to hide resting limit orders from the order book), then you would get the slippage reducing benefit of server trading.

There are other benefits of trading through a server, such as:
    1. Trade on Mobile, Tablet, other PCs. A remote server allows you to run Windows Only applications on non Windows devices. Your trading workspace is on the server, enabling trading from Androids, iPhones, Tablets, Mac, other PCs. For example enter a trade on your PC and continue with the same trade on your phone.
    2. 100% Uptime, Never lose internet connection, Never miss a trade setup. If your home internet connection or router needs to be restarted, your trading workspace on the server is always connected to your broker and data feed. If you have a local PC or internet problem, instantly switch to trading on mobile without missing the trade setup.
    3. Automated Trading. Our servers are designed to run critical trading applications 24/7, allowing you to run your automated strategies.
    4. Simultaneously connect to the same brokerage account in multiple instances. For example use the server for live trading and connect to the same brokerage on local PC for testing new strategies.
Also very handy for non-trading activities such as Excel Macros and running other Windows only applications, when you're at home or away from home. It is a full Windows PC in your pocket.
