  2. Are you saying to ignore me or Exception? I’m assuming you’re talking about him. I don’t care if someone critisizes, just back up your statements. You can’t make false statements and then not stand by them, that’s slander. I have been a mostly losing trader for about 7 years, but with a few exceptions, it was never the brokers fault, I made bad trades. FXCM gave me $25 in February and I have turned that into $1900. It’s the most incredible trading I’ve done. I have confidence now.

They do not scam you like what is being touted here. When I click a price, I get it, sometimes better. Never even 1 pip in slippage ever. All of my stops are guaranteed (and if you can’t think of a most obvious way to take advantage of that, then just think about it for a minute). Of course they widen the spreads during volatile time and on Sundays at the open, but that is to be expected. During the overnight hours NQ and YM often go to 3 or 4 tick, does that make them a scam?

If a company that I am happy to do business with is wrongly villified, I have to stand up for them. I can’t let their business be hurt because it will eventually hurt me. Believe me, the day they screw me, I’ll be the first to close my account and start bashing them.

from your posts it can be deduced that you guys are noobs

while it is possible you will learn as years go by and realize how green you are, the odds are very much against you.

When I was young trader, being fleeced by bucketshops. I took no time in understanding who is working against me and how.
It seems you guys have difficulty understanding that same thing, all to your own future detriment

from your posts and multiple aliases, it can be deduced that you suffer Multiple-Idiot-Disorder

When I was young trader, being fleeced by bucketshops.

It is hard to believe you even know how to spell "trade."

  6. You are absolutely hilarious! What’s with the new screen name? Adding a 1. What you think we wouldn’t notice?

Why don’t you just put an end to this and simply show us how FXCM screws their clients. I’ve placed about 10 market orders today, I got the price displayed everytime. No slippage for me. I also got my 1.8 pip spread on Gbp/Usd. I wonder what ACM is offerring? 4 pips, maybe 5. I had a limit sell order on Gbp/Usd at 1.64816. It got filled at 11:01 est today. Looking at the Tradestation data feed, the high was 1.64814. HA! FXCM filled me at an even better price than Tradestation.

You spent so much time putting up bad reviews and telling us lowly souls how pitiful we are. Why couldn’t you just spend half that time and back up you damn statements. Now we’re all anxiously waiting on your explanation of how they screw their clients.

  7. He lives in Daddy's basement, and rotating his IPaddress&alias to evade ET mods, plus delivering a stream of clueless remarks is the only two reasons this Multiple-Idiot-Syndrome guy has to live.

Of course, this will cause pathetic person to send one more PM from another alias for me to not read.

  8. Hey, I live with my parents! Not in the basement though, that would be my sister.

Anyways, it ceases to amaze me how people around here can’t answer a simple question. Nobody wants to have a meaningful, productive conversation around here. For instance, in the political and economic threads, I have asked a very simple question many times that nobody will simply answer. How are people supposed to get ahead if their incomes are stagnant or falling, meanwhile their cost of living is constantly going up? Instead I get all these remarks about how lazy I am or how I think I’m entitled to a middle class lifestyle deliverying pizza. Or other people agree with me, but onclude that anything I say has no merit because I don’t have a college degree. Inevitably I end up just being labeled a Obama loving Socialist, even though I didn’t even vote for him. In the end the question still remains unanswered.

So again I will ask, how exactly does FXCM screw their clients and please offer proof, otherwise just shut up. BTW, I’m still loving my 1.2 pip spreads. Tradestation is quoting 1.64888 as the high on Gbp/Usd. I just got my limit order filled on FXCM at 1.64871. I just wish I had a video camera to record the live trades and the fills I get.

I don't have a dog in this fight - just wanna put something out there

I never traded with FXCM - if you go and read reviews about FXCM you'll find plenty complaints some of them serious. I'll stick with Interactive Brokers thank you very much :)

  10. Well I guess you could say the same thing about IB, but I’ve never traded with them and the complaints I hear about them seem to be mostly about margin requirements and customer service.

For bigger traders, IB is probably better. I just like what FXCM offers. I see on IB’s website, they charge a commission and a narrower spread. The minimum commission is $2.50 up to a 50k lot. Add a .7 pip spread (just guessing), and that would be $8.50 on a 50k lot. With FXCM, a 50k lot with 1.5 spread, would be $7.50. I’m not sure if I calculated all that right, but they’re both probably competitive. But the great thing about FXCM is that I can trade 1k lots. I scale in and out of everything, so I like the flexibility that offers. There is no minimum account balance or data fees either. They also have a great API that I have been using. It’s great because you can test a real time trading system, but with 1k lots, which is basically no risk at all. I mean, whatever suits your style. Like I said before, I am happy to trade with them the way it is now. Believe me, the moment they ever try to screw me or start something I don’t like, I’ll be the first to bash them.
