I recalled there were two studies on chloroquine one in China one Japan. Both didn't see much efficacy. The latest is one test in France with 24 patients who had mild/moderate symptoms, adding Zpack to the chloroquine. It showed "dramatic" results but the sample size was not statistically significant and they did not know if those patients might heal without the treatment. Our FDA is now recruiting patients for a trial on this combination. Remdesivir has three phase 3 double blind trials around the world, the first (in China) should be completed as we speak, then there will be a few weeks of data crunching before they can definitively say if it works. It is a BIG IF. Honestly no one knows and those of us who bet on it now are taking a BIG gamble based on the price movements and analyst reports.
