We better get our Act together Fast

  1. "we" dont have to do shit. It is now up to the "Individual" to prepare for the future. We as a Nation are in a very bad phase.

"The main message we want to send today is there are 7 to 9 million people across the country who right now could be taking advantage of lower mortgage rates," Obama said in a photo opportunity in the Roosevelt Room. "That is money in their pocket."

The Gov. wants American's in Debt. Period. Refi now and that's money in your pockets all right. Spread the mortgage out for another 30 years. Do not get me wrong, if your paying 6% refi. But of course, they will take out any equity on their home and the mortgage lenders will have some plan on the refi for them Home owner to cash out more debt.

Build your own net worth. If your in a opportunity to make as much money as you can...then do it. The average joe is not. Most on this site work on Salary job. Those of you who do, better trade part time well.

But for those who trade for a living, have uncapped earning potential in Private Equity, Sales of anykind. Work your ass off this year. Build up as much Capital as you can.

It is everyman for himself now. The collective will go down in the sinking life boat.

Once the GOV passes the new AMT Rules and the 250K tax rule.......game is over for us in that ball park. No way around the new Tax Rules coming down the pipe.

ASIA should be a great place to make money, in trading and in Private Equity. I have been contacting VC/Private Equity Firms in Asia and they seem pretty receptive to "Yankees."

I'm just building a network but it is interesting to listen to what is going on in Asia.

So, wake up. Nothing is going to save the US. The dollar should get crushed here in the next year. Exports will be great if your in Manufacturing. However, inflation will kill the consumer in America....when it show's it ugly head.

The liberal dumbocrat baby boomers in power have descimated what our Founding Fathers created... I never thought I would see the US become the real deal "Republic of America."

Gotta love idiot voters on the far, far extreme who are allowed to vote, but probably couldn't get up in the mornings, tie their shoes, and take a good piss without help.

I truly believe the far left media wants a socialist regime, and I have no clue why. They could make more $$$$ spewing scandals, than paying the government to report stories. lol! Such class A idiots about to get "what they asked for."

Last, I'm allowed to complain. My own Father is a Pastor. He actually got suckered in by odumba, and voted for him. I tried to tell him how dumb the mere thought of voting for a communist muslim was, but what does a 36 year-old know who's been around the World a few times...

I've seen socialism as a yound Marine, and it was an udder disaster imo. I've also seen how the extreme muslim "world" is, and that's another udder disaster. Has common sense left the building???

Never thought I'd see the leftist media hand pick a candidate with ZERO record of achievement besides holding a Senate seat for 6 years. Amazing where we once were, and where we are now. I guess some of odubma's barber's are going to be appointed to jobs soon too, so look out. lol!

    Vote Libertarian

    Take YOUR Country back!

  5. This has to be a joke, right? Highly expert and experienced at what, getting appointed via political favors? Not paying taxes?

In case no one is noticing the facts, the Dems have controlled the House and Senate for about 3 years. People want to whine about Presidents but reality is their biggest function is to restrain Congress/moderate the system.

This liberal-controlled Congress has now passed three (yes, 3) so-called housing rescue plans. FHA Secure, Hope For Homeowners and now this newest token piece of crap that Geithner/Obama just announced. All are next to useless and each has only helped a tiny fraction of the people they were projected to.

Meanwhile, FHA, VA and Fannie/Freddie are tighter than ever, just as of this month cutting back more on LTV's for re-fi's, etc. it is a fucking DISASTER. I am in lending so I know firsthand.

Real Estate lawyers, trustees, asset-managers and other loss prevention/mitigation businesses are just about the only job growth industry there is right now.

And if anyone thinks the housing crisis is near an end, please note that Fannie/Freddie have twice announced 90 day moratoriums on foreclosures, while they were waiting to see what the new administration would do. This had led to a HUGE buildup of lender-owned properties that are not even on the market yet. Just wait until this million or so empty houses hits the market.

Obama promised to go "line-by-line through the Budget" instead it will triple, and even based off of BS revenue projections just like Clintonomics.

Obama promised a "Middle-class tax cut" and in case no one noticed, he just announced that "Congress woudn't let me have it."

Never before has the American public been sold such a false bill of goods as this inexperienced, no-substance charlatan we have elected.

Meanwhile, the Dems are nearly unrestrained in their business-killing, growth-squelching, Constitutionally dangerous, socialist madness.

And before anyone flames me, I am not pro-Bush or not really even pro-Republican (at least not in their current form).

I am anti-Democrat because Pelosi, Frank, Reid, Dodd, Miller and all of the other idiots have done such a crappy job taking care of business, all the while blaming the last figurehead and crying about what they have "inherited". When the truth is, they were in charge for the worst portion of it - the last 3 years.

  7. Moderate. Just because we have 2 major parties in power doesn't mean there are only 2 extreme ways to think about things, right?

It seems to me that at least your view on economical issues is closer to Republican.

I have never seen image work so well as in this president. He literally does nothing and people are fawning.

North Korea launches missile- 'hey let's have a meeting and discuss this serious issue' says Obama. [ooooo he's so cool and competant, look at how smartly he handles things]

Expands the budget to eye popping deficits- 'we gotta get this budget under control, I have a 10 year plan' says the messiah.

How brain dead is the public anyway? If we want to know why we don't have our act together, look no further than the above.

  10. Get your head out of your ass, it's a 1 party system. Republicans and Democrats are both funded by banks, multi-nationals, they don't care about any of the 300 million americans. They are a pure PR show. STOP voting for either of them, stop identifying with either of them.
