Why can I not recall you even once stepping in to disagree with anything stupid from team evil? You being high minded and all, I mean for example:

This selective attention, we might all be somewhat guilty but.. Is it you know Ammon is as thick as pig shit but so many on the Trump train air you would never hear the end if it?

There’s shills from both sides on these boards. You don’t pull back the reigns when it’s someone throwing crap from your perspective, quite the opposite, you egg it on.

I understand you don’t like Trump, regardless of his policies, good or bad in your opinion, the man is not evil-incarnate.

Shits hitting the proverbial worldwide fan at the moment, there will be time when we are past this to second guess, point blame or heap praise. But at this stage of the game, mud slinging, divisive action, hurts everyone. Those engaging cause more harm, but they really don’t give a fuck about their fellow man. They’d rather troll emotions or worse try to shift perspective by using a crisis for political gain.

Instead of trying to provoke each other we would be better off, checking on a neighbor. Call a family member you haven’t spoken to in a while. Pay forward a good deed. Make the world a little better than it was when you woke up.

Again with the both sides, and you really don't smell the sulphur at all? Remarkable.

I genuinely rarely see anything insane from team not-evil and I have sent a couple of you feeling ok boss? PMs. I have received a couple (I am pretty extreme sometimes).

We should stick together a bit more but your boy is giving licence to piracy of sorts. Now 600 respirators have been diverted from Brazil because Trump did not order them in time.

His supporters will jack off as usual to a bully move... in the ballpark of evil as it is a source of pleasure for them.

Colombia not Columbia where i am anyway has already been in lockdown for a month. Seems to be working, the government has provided assistance to the casual/indigent workers. May go to July, all depends on the economics. People have the patience and will, I and others are giving lots of cash to support the poorest.. Food is plentyful and cheap, not so bad yet.

The planners want to move to finding ways to isolate the elderly and allow the youngers to work. Difficult here are many homes are multi generational but plans are afoot.

Not perfect, better than the US as there are not so many selfish idiots. Still some, the president said yesterday anyone caught trying to get to holiday homes/destinations lose their cars from now on. Idiot fines are paying a bit of the social support costs.

man that sounds so much better too. Thx.

What’s in a name? Quite a lot if you ask a Colombian, and for good reason. The country has been misspelt for years by newspapers, magazines, in books and online. But thanks to a social media campaign called “It’s Colombia, NOT Columbia” the word is getting out and they’re setting the record straight.

But why all the confusion? Why do so many people spell the country incorrectly? Well, before it was given the title of the Republic of Colombia, the nation went through a variety of names.

It was called the Nueva Granada (along with Panama, Venezuela and Ecuador) it was then called the Republic of Nueva Granada, then the Federacion Granadina and even the United States of Colombia.

Eventually, the name Colombia was decided on, inspired by the Italian explorer and navigator, Cristoforo Colombo. In English we know him as Christopher Columbus. Now, that’s where that pesky U pops up.

And the country of Colombia isn’t the only thing named after the explorer. There is:

    • The Canadian province of British Columbia
    • Columbia in South Carolina
    • Columbia County in New York
    • And we can’t forget Columbia University in New York, too
As Victoria Kellaway puts it in her illustrated novel Colombia a comedy of errors, to an English speaker “Columbia could be to Colombia what Londres is to London. We would just never dare to admit that in public.”

Whatever the case, Colombia is referred as “ColOmbia” in the dictionary. So it’s settled then, it really is Colombia and not Columbia.

Mr B, do many people still have access and skills to raise their own gardens and protein stock, chickens, goats, ...
what was common over most of the world 75 years ago is rare as hens teeth today. Spoke with an elderly woman several months back who had a dog when she was very much younger, and this dog would not bother the chickens, but the best part was that she could point to the particular chicken that she had plans for and the dog would make it his mission to come back with the chicken to the back door of the house and deliver it to her. now that is my kind of dog. she acted like it was no big deal.

This is the spin coming out of Fox News and you’re just parroting it. We don’t have to quietly accept inaction like sheep. The truth is watching misstep after misstep and not speaking out and drowning out the rightful criticism as unpatriotic only allows for more poor governance.

We totally screwed up in any containment of this virus. Right now we are in an “open-ended spread.” We needed testing, testing, testing early and local lockdowns. Instead we got inaction and diversion. It’s a hoax, it’s the flu, it will disappear. There is no rewinding that back, yet we are still complacent with the testing. Testing is the only thing that will get this country out of lock down and slow the spread.

Now we need PPE and still no enaction of the DPA. Doctors and nurses are wearing rain ponchos and contaminated masks! The problem is we need the doctors and nurse to not get sick because if we can’t properly treat the sick patients the fatality rate increases.

    Don’t be a sheep.

"plz don't lower daddy's Trump poll numbers....you're being divisive." It's Bush's "don't criticize Iraq, you're being unpatriotic" all over again.
