I’m reading through the posts and noticing a lot of talk about bioweapons, vaccines, hydrochlorinique, other hopefuls therapies and just want to comment that you all should not count on this stuff. It’s good to be hopeful but better to be realistic. It will most likely be quite sometime before there is an actually effective therapeutic- whether that includes hydro-whatever, vitamin c, remdivir (sp) or not. We may get a vaccine before a therapeutic. Something like a modified TB vaccine may help. We need to focus on containment efforts to really get through the medium term. That includes testing, testing, testing, continuous distancing even after lock down ends and personal measures including hygiene and in some areas masks and gloves. Plan on that.

The suit, filed on behalf of the Washington League for Increased Transparency and Ethics (WASHLITE), alleges Fox News engaged in unfair or deceptive acts by representing the coronavirus as a hoax in broadcasts that aired in February and March. Those broadcasts caused viewers to fail to adequately protect themselves or mitigate the virus’ spread, and therefore contributed to the public-health crisis and preventable mass death, the lawsuit says.

Okay well, we have a little lecturette here from Usual Tard. Let me issue my own caution: Usual Tard is the foremost hardcore binary thinker here, and he is poised to chide you down the road for allegedly saying that hydroxy would be the cure-all when no one is saying that. But there is absolutely nothing that keeps his binary mind for hearing that. I will say again the response must and will be multifactorial, as all treatment modalities with difficult conditions are. The binary mind absolutely cannot process "multifactorial." Increase testing for the covid and antibody testing for those who have had it is critical. And that is a piece of the picture, a very large piece. And hydroxy will not be cure or a show stopper but it may very well show a valuable edge over the control group. Ditto for taking the older form of TB vaccine which seems to bestow a significant benefit but not competely, and the antibody transfer by infusion- which is already here just not in volume- might offer significant benefit but not major. And adding azythromyocin into the mix- cha-ching, another small benefit. So on and so forth. You stack small edges together and gradually your outcomes, icu admissions, and death statistics start showing real benefit. But, again, that is not how the binary mind works, and if hydroxy, for example shows a significant edge over the control group, the lefties and binary thinkers here - Usual Tard being exhibit A, will be right there saying "you said it was going to be a cure-all and it wasn't." It's what they do. The concept of stacking edges together- where no one factor is controlling- is quite clear to anyone who is familiar with either medicine or trading. But some people here are apparently not familiar with either one of those fields.

Now the media claims deaths might be higher than reported. Their projections are not panning out so they have to resort to damage control and change the narrative, saying that deaths in Jan and Feb might be covid related. Oh really?
