Past performance is no guarantee of future performance. And I know what you are saying, it leans toward probabilities which is correct. What I've found, long term lookback on support and resistance works, but usually you will discover they are often just round numbers. In stock trading I only concentrate for price analysis clues, back the last few days, like a month max, but usually 5-10 days. The last few days can give a heads up on the next few days ahead.
I can recall years ago a work collegue told of his wife dying of cancer. I said nothing but decided to fast and pray for 3 days about it, I didn't know this woman, never met her. Anyhow just prior to her death she became a christian which surprised me as he wasn't a christian. I never went to the funeral but it was in a church somewhere and apparently from what I was told it was a happy funeral. Prayer may work, but I've heard lots of horror stories of christians going through a lot of terror and pain too, including nasty accidents. These days I dont think too much about praying, we make our own luck, good or bad frequently. I think maybe our minds pray for us. Today I mentioned how one of my penny stocks went belly up to the tune of $12k. Well no big deal, I'm seasoned to huge swings as I don't trade pocket money, but coincidently today thanks largely to my gold holdings among other stuff I trade, I was up only $500 short of $12k at close. Prayer? Don't think so as it never entered my mind to pray because as mentioned was no big deal, but when I told wifey her mouth dropped until I told her I made it back again in the same day bar the 500 smackers. Prolly everyone prays at times maybe, but as for results, prolly 50/50.
That's easy. How about a creator who created those rocks and mountain formations that some minions now labor a life time over dating them. What amazes me much more is how someone can believe in a big bang but can't even come up with some crazy idea how molecules were set in motion and by what energy source that would eventually collide to cause such big bang. Believing in the nothing from the beginning is the most utopian and unscientific mindset there can be.
You are all over the landscape with your inquisitive trick questions. You forgot one : how could it be light when God created the sun after it was light? Did you order yourself the newest book "100 God denial questions"? How about sticking with one issue before sailing onto the next. So what's so hard to believe that if there is an all powerful creator that he can speak stones that appear millions of years old, into existence into a world that might only be thousands of years old. If you refute the idea of an all powerful God then there is nothing to discuss and I respectfully bow out of this exchange.
That is a lot of whitewash of wrong done by fervent Christians right there. I go to a church where there are some self proclaimed Christians who absolutely hate indigenous people and use every opportunity to denigrate them purely based on their ethnic background. We have to stop putting everyone into two camps. Each person is different. Many who call themselves Christian and even go to church every Sunday won't be saved for sure, though that is for God alone to judge, at least their entire belief system and conduct contradict biblical principles and the teachings of Jesus.
Hi! Welcome to the religious trading forum that is mostly run by haters of the God of the Bible! Looks like you are a fellow believer, so I hope you can join me in proclaiming God's light in a dark place.
