We Are So Screwed

  1. A main factor in Obama's election was our dissatisfaction with Bush's lying, warring, spendthrift.

Obama is everything bad Bush was and worse.

  2. Don't worry, Sarah Palin in 2012 will take care of everything. :D :D

I thought election results were well known hermit, apparently you missed the news that night.

What a bullshit site, lumps all trivial changes with major changes so the scorecard looks more impressive, and colors the 'in the works' issues green so they look like the 'accomplished' ones. Tricky potato... and Guantanomo bay is a green- LOL Cap and Trade: green baby, she's in the works!

Well I'm a playboy billionaire 'in the works', so far so good eh?

  4. Many of us were fooled. We hoped for change and didn't get it. You can insult all you want, but that's the truth. There's no pretense at all.

    Spill your misplaced venom elsewhere.

  5. Did you check the link or do you live in your own world and make up your own facts. You are not fooling anyone with your "We" talk.

Are the handwringers getting the catharsis they were hoping for in this thread? It was one big happy backslapping party there for a bit.

In the meantime, Spring is arriving post haste, it's 10C above normal here (no need to go into that), my sales are booming, and my offices are looking for engineers and draftsmen. So, if you have one of those actually useful skills, vs. mere paper shuffling aka trading, and would like to work in Texas, Colorado, Wyoming, Utah, Alberta, or Saskatchewan, let me know and I'll forward your resume.

America wasn't built by handwringers, and it will not be repaired by them either.

It's good to get down to real business, but every business needs to keep an eye on the books and the national ledger looks like absolute shit. I like to be an optimist and I like to be a realist, the problem is that the two are in conflict.

America has really bad problems that we are nowhere near solving:

    1) Globalism
    2) Overdone socialism in a country full of old, fat, and sick people
    3) Illegal immigration

Fix those and I'm ready to roll up my sleeves, otherwise your patching holes in the titanic
