Really? That's not the way it is in my house at all. No wonder you have such a view of married life. You get your "intelligence" from Married with Children episodes.
This all american women are evil thing... really sounds like bunch of guys without any skills or talent for figuring out what is going on. so I will give you my take. Its not easy to get along with the other sex on a long term basis for both sexes. In my opinion... 2 things increase your odds greatly.. 1. If you want good odds of a lot of sex you probably should be dating an athletic women who likes to do physical things and enjoys running around in bathing suits... likes her body or maybe a dancer... a mail women a park ranger... If this is your goal..you should probably join a gym or join running club or a mountain biking club etc. 2. this is an odd one... its paradoxical for many men and it was for me... I could not do this for many years. But, once I did the results were great for me. I noticed it first with a guy across the hall from me in college. He was a high school ice hockey player who reinvented himself. In college he became a "photographer" and let women know he cared about their feelings... and got laid all the time... Bill Clinton "cared" about feelings and he got to be president... without really caring. Its odd but somehow if you let (or fake it at first) yourself care about things that your women cares about... you may get really great sex... which in turn helps you care about the sometimes silly shit women care about not directly but because it make this women with whom you have great sex happy. it becomes a virtuous cycle... and I contrast that with the vicious cycle you can also see. Where a man gets too little sex and gets mean or resentful and becomes indifferent to his wife and that reduces his chance even more of getting sex from his wife. This is a brutal cycle and I have seen it happen to friends.
What are guys who have never been married doing commenting on marriage? It sounds like they don't have the necessary background to express an opinion on the subject.

Alas, poor Joe. I knew him, Horatio. A fellow of infinite jest! Where be your gibes now? Your gambols?
