Watch Jon Stewart

  1. Jon Stewart is part of the problem, not the solution. He still sees everything in terms of Left vs. Right, instead of Freedom vs. Tyranny.

The extreme of freedom is tyranny. Do you mean that extreme of freedom? Unless you do, you cannot logically and fairly oppose it to your "tyranny", which is the other extreme.

    The Constitution is NOT tyranny.

    It's freedom.

How is the Constitution tyrannical ?

How could anyone equate the Constitution to oppression? And modern Government to liberty?

Is this 1984? Are you George Orwell?

The Constitution is not the extreme of freedom, anarchy is. You're off your rails here.

  6. Yes but anarchy is the hobgoblin of Sodomites. You're not one of those , are ya?

  7. Stewart is another one of those leftists, I have no need to watch him. [IMG]

  8. Extreme freedom = anarchy = tyranny? Ok, actually that does kind of make sense in a way.

But no respectable Libertarian has ever asked or advocated for that! Ayn Rand, Ron Paul, Stossel, Judge Nepolitano, Cato Institute, Rothbard, Mises, Friedman, etc... None of these people have ever advocated for anarchy. All we want is for the Bill of Rights to be exhumed from it's grave and followed to the letter by our government.

Thank you, my point was a philosophical one. Tyranny is by definition one extreme, but freedom is not the other extreme. So to say which one is better is not a fair question, imho.
