yeah, just been super tired. my hemogloben is very low which makes me sleep all the time..17 hours yesterday.
Just a fast update that I'm doing ok cept this flippin anemia. I feel like I'm a friggin bear in hybernation. Anyway- I've just gotten ahold of Barron about sponsorship since it's pretty obvious that for me to reach my goal (10K in the next 8 weeks) I will have to prolly sell sumthin.
I've hit my $10,000 goal as a $5000 retainer check is in the mail for me. I've always looked at successful marketing campaigns as a franchise opportunity. That is to say, I can sell them, or license them out. For such a long time people have been misled about marketing from the large firms. They think it's about being cute or creative, it's not. Marketing is about one thing, and one thing only: MAKING MONEY. Towards that end a brand new marketing campaign has a large degree of risk associated with it. However, if you have a campaign that has proven itself to be a winner time and time again you have something that be very productive for you, with out much risk. The proven campaign can be especially powerful if it's been successful in a business related to yours, but has never been used exactly in your own industry. I've got six different campaigns that I have licenced out before to online business and two that work for offline business..although I have substantially less experience offline then online. In any case I signed a contract with a high end jewelry store in Minneapolis. I sent out my lead generation letter (by fedex) to 16 stores. So far 13 have said now, 1 has said maybe and two have said yes...with one paying. When I license this particular strategy out I give the store local exclusivity with the method. As I get more experience I'd like to get my retainer up to $10 to $20K range. I know of one guy who does exactly what I'm doing with some slightly different campaigns that has a $100,000 retainer. The difference between him and I though is that he has done this for 28 years and has a lot of testimonials and experience. He uses totally different campaigns then I do, all of them offline. Last year he generated over $100million for his 8 clients. In any event this particular strategy should make the store $70,000 + in profit. If it does not make at least $25,000 I will refund my retainer. My fee is based upon the retainer and 1/8th of the profits on anything above $25,000. That would make a profit of just under $14,000 for me. The total amount of time I have into this project will come to about 15 hours (not including originally developing the marketing campaign) The campaign will run the first week of June. I'm also in the process of setting up a customer loyalty program that I can license out. Anyway this is a rather unique approach, looking at a successful marketing campaign as a "franchise" and I only know of a few people who do this in the way I'm building my business. My hope is that I can turn this into a full time business. I suspect that if I spend about an hour a day on lead generation I can easily make $100 - $200K on this consultation business. If I was willing to hire an assistent to do the lead generation for me all day I could probably do 7 figures. The business would simply involve licensing out my proven marketing campaigns. Like I said there are a few people I know of doing it, and I've been very surprised at how easy it has been to get a company to sign up IF YOU CAN GET THROUGH TO THE DECIDER. Finally an update on me. I do apologize for not having gotten too much posted here. I continue to have anemia very badly, my hemogloban has yet to read about 7. I did get out of the hospital on Thursday night though. I'm now "homebound" for the next eight weeks while I have IV antibiotic treatment (homebound means I'm not allowed to leave the house)
<i>"Anyway- I've just gotten ahold of Barron about sponsorship since it's pretty obvious that for me to reach my goal (10K in the next 8 weeks) I will have to prolly sell sumthin."</i> Brandon, there is a monumental difference between having a product or service of great value to others that you decide to market versus a marketing campaign designed to exchange widgets for dollars. Somewhere along the line, too many marketing gurus lose sight of that fact. Their focus and fixation shifts from creating the most value for clients to extracting the most revenue from customers. Big difference... two very different paths. It sounds your like ad campaign design for existing companies is a winner. Something you should definitely go with, and many people here would love to follow your progress. Meanwhile, your primary focus needs to be on a healthy recovery. Sleep more than you need to, eat right, repeat those two steps and you'll be 100% in no time. Take great care
Almost everyone in America claims that they want to be rich, happy and well off. I'm really not sure if that's the case though. I tend to believe Nelson Mandella, who said âOur deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measureâ This fear keeps us from taking the small steps and risks that are required for us to truly be great. We worry about petty things, such as what everyone else thinks. In seeking out "Job Security" folks take the option that is least secure of all...letting someone else control the future for them. I was very lucky back in 1998 to have met Jeff Tappan. Jeff was a student of the legendary direct marketer Gary Halbert. Gary thought so much of Jeff that he even had him speak at his events. Jeff was one of the very first people out there to realize that the Internet was a tool that could be used to make entrepreneurs into millionares. This was back when "everyone" said that you could not make any money on the 'net. I learned to market from a master because he had a direct interest in my being successful. He mentored me in the best possible way and taught me how to build a business and market a product. He did all of this because he had a very direct interest in my success. How? Because he was my partner. I owned 50% of the business, he owned 50% of the business. So over the last couple of weeks I have come up with this concept of franshising out proven marketing concepts. For whatever reason people have bought into the BS Madison Avenue line that marketing should be "Creative" or "fun and memorable". Do you remember the bud...wie...serrrrrr fogs? Most people do. That ad got award after award after award...and when it came time to measure the results for Bud, that ad was huge loser. Creative make's people in NY feel great about themselves and allows them to give each other awards, but it rarely produces profits for entreprenuers. What does work is proven and tested marketing systems. Towards this end I have started a new consulting business that has already been successful in spite of my health. It is rather proprietary so I don't want to go into exactly what it is here. But..here is what I need. I need a couple of motivated people who would like to come work with me on this new project. You will not be charged a nickle for all the one on one attention you get, the training and the proprietary marketing models. You will have a very legitimate opportunity to make 6 figures per year working 4 to 6 hours per day. To qualify you must have a successful background. If your a hard luck case who's had "terrible luck" since the day your momma spit you out of the womb this is not something that will work out, either for you or for me. When I think of my ideal potential partner/student he or she would have, as I said a very strong sales background, and have had success in that field. Former stock brokers, for example, would be excellent. You will be required to sign no compete and non disclosure agreements that will remain in effect for two years. After that period you will be encouraged to get out on your own and apply what you've been doing for the prior two years. If this offer is of interest to you please email me at brandon@ifiredwallstreet.com Brandon Btw..This has NOTHING to do with the stock market, emini's, forex, etc. It is purely a marketing consultant thing.
I have so far eleven people who have applied to work with me. According to the FTC and the Better Business Bureau (BBB) for every one legitimate "work at home opportunity" on the 'Net there are 54 scams. I make that point to let let you know what a truly rare opportunity this is. I am going to give to two or three people here on ET essentially the same opportunity that Jeff Tappan gave me, which is to work under and directly with a proven entrepreneur and marketer. The opportunity given to me by Jeff is one of the most significant events of my entire life because it gave me a skill that allowed me to become a self made millionare. I want to be clear that this is not a product that I am selling. To the contary you will be working with my company and will actually be paid. That is to say, we will be working together and our interests will be perfectly in synch. The better you do, the better I do. I will NEVER ask you for a nickle. (unless we happen to walk past a Pepsi machine and I don't have any change in my pocket..in that case I am very likely to ask you for $1.25 or so). This is a rare opportunity that I am posting on ET in order to try to give back to a community that has given me more then I could ever hope to repay. I'd like to go ahead and list out the type of person I am looking for. First of all though I want to qualify who I am NOT looking for. I have gotten two emails from what I'd consider to be "hard luck cases", ie people who have had bad breaks and those breaks have continued to hold them down. I'm sorry to say this, but if your 35 years old and have never been successful at anything in your life, your success will not start with me. You just have more work to do then I am qualified to deal with, or even want to deal with. The most important criteria here is just the desire to succeed, and a proven track record of having done so in the past. I've had one person email me who was 20 years old and afraid that this would disqualify them. By no means! I was 19 when Jeff saw something in me and took a leap of faith. I'm simply looking for an honest, hard working and loyal person who is open to learning new things. Someone who understands that the only true "job security" in this world occurs when you grab life by the horns and create your own. Since a large part of what you will be doing at first is telephone based lead generation a strong background in sales would be prefered, but it's not required. (You won't be cold calling). You need to be able to handle rejection and not have it dampen your enthusiasm, because your likely to get 10 or 15 no's to every single yes. However, if you give me 4 to 6 hours a day you should be able to contact 15 or 20 prospects per week. Since I have a retainer of $5000 to $30,000 depending upon the situation one "closed" sale is indeed very valuable. You will share in your profits. I will provide all of the training you need, and as such I'd like you to commit to working with me for 2 years. After that point I will help you setup your own business doing exactly what you will be doing. This is an opportunity for you to make 6 figures, because if you don't the truth is that will be a signal to both of us that your not working out and we will have to both part as friends. The folks who end up working with me will have a formula that will allow them to make a very comfortable six figure living for the rest of their live, and to live life on your own terms. Anyway this is a rather rambling post as I've not sat down and written it out before hand. I probably should have as I'm sure I'd then have more candidates to chose from, but the truth is what I really want is a motivated person who is eager to work with me, regardless of the spelling, grammar and sentance structure of this particular post. Last point, this is a consulting/marketing opportunity. You will be working with both offline and online business. This has NOTHING to do with finance in any way shape or form except that we may have such companies as clients at some point. I look forward to hearing from you. You can of course PM me here, but the best way to get ahold of me will be to email me at provenpromotions@gmail.com (if you have sent an email to the address at Ifiredwallstreet.com please resend it to this address as well) Brandon
I'll try to explain a little bit here about what I am doing. First understand that in my very humble opinion marketing the way Madison Avenue does it is BS. It's more about stroking the ego's of "artists" who want to win awards from each other then it is about making money from clients. In fact, some of the worst ads of all time (in terms of the ROI for the client) are some of the most celebrated ads of all time by the folks on Madison Avenue. For example, I'm sure that a lot of you remember the Budweiser Frogs ad, Buuuuddddd......weeeeeiiiii....zerrrrrrr.... Well, that was very popular of course with the artists on Madison Avenue - but it didnt do shit for Budweiser. They spent, literally, hundreds of millions of dollars on an ad that half of their core audiance thought was stupid. Claud Hopkins was spot on when he said that the great thing about marketing and advertising is that it can be quantified and qualified down to the nickle. Madison Avenue firms pay themselves by how much of your money they can spend. That means the more of their shitty ads they can talk you into running, the more money you flush down the toilet so they can give themselves awards for being "artists" and pay for a fancy ass office. Studies prove that less then 10% of all marketing campaigns will ever turn a profit. The interesting thing about a profitable marketing campaign though is that, like a trading system, if it works once, it's likely to work twice. How many time's have we all seen variations of the classic "When I sat down to play piano....." ad, well it's been knocked off dozens of times coz it produces results every single time. So here is my concept. First of all I love the hedge fund model for getting paid. That is to say, if I dont produce results for my client I don't see why they should be paying me to flush their money down the toilet. With that in mind everything I do is performance based. This makes sure that my interest and the clients interest are one in the same. Here is the next idea though. I was looking at franchises. People by sandwhich shops, window installation companies, Pest Control Operations, the Merry Maid's etc. Now in most of these cases they could obviously just start the damn thing up all by themselves and save themselves having to pay a lot of money to the parent company. Smart entrepreneurs have no problem paying the parent company though..and the reason for that is that they are getting a proven system and best practices. People pay massive six figure up front fee's and then continue to pay in a percentage of everything they ever make because they want a repeatable system that works. My idea is that a profitable marketing campaign is not that much different then a good franshise. With this in mind I've already done several deals where I've "licensed" out some of the most successful campaigns I've run with my various online business. So far in every single case the client's been happy and I've had a nice fat check. In most cases the campaigns only take a few days from start to finish. Given my current health situation I'm somewhat limited. Ideally I'd spend 2 or 3 hours a day prospecting for clients and then a similar amount of time putting proven campaigns to work for those clients. Some days that ain't no problem, other's it is. I'm going to teach you my proven marketing campaigns, and all of my most successful lead generation techniques. We will run a little business together doing what I desribed above and we will split the profits in a very fair way. Like I said I have already done several of these deals in the past, but for some reason it just never struck me as being a viable business concept in and of itself. However, I came across a couple of websites and then several people who are doing exactly what I described above, and with out exception they are all making six and seven figures (one guy is making over $25million, but he has 15 employees too) doing exactly what I just described. Like I said if you decided you'd like to work with me, and after we talk and get to know each other and I review your referances I decide I'd like to work with you as well this will give you the ability to earn a legitimate six figure income and provide a lot of freedom to you in the process. The training process I will take you through is likely to be about 2 or 3 weeks, but I really believe in just giving you a few things and then having you go out and do. The worst thing in the world is too much hand holding, I learned that running a chatroom for too long. This is the type of opportunity that is unlikely to ever be available again..at least not through me. If you want to take control of your own destiny and work in an exciting field I hope to hear from ya. Brandon
