This woman is typical of the liberal lame brains in Congress. So they made her chair of the DNC. <iframe width="420" height="315" src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/HQW8elNLqJQ" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>
Unemployment has gone up precipitously ...... <IMG SRC=http://research.stlouisfed.org/fred2/graph/fredgraph.png?&id=UNRATE&scale=Left&range=Custom&cosd=2009-01-01&coed=2011-11-01&line_color=%230000ff&link_values=false&line_style=Solid&mark_type=NONE&mw=4&lw=1&ost=-99999&oet=99999&mma=0&fml=a&fq=Monthly&fam=avg&fgst=lin&transformation=lin&vintage_date=2011-12-12&revision_date=2011-12-12> Facts and reality have a liberal bias.
Much easier to just post the Economic Participation Rate chart. Since these clowns will always dismiss the U6 composite unemployment rate and/or label anything that Shadow Stats publishes as a "conspiracy", the participation rate is about the only thing left to silence these idiots.
Add back in the millions who have quit looking for work. Maybe this chart will give convert a better perspective. I also think the "noise" in the chart during Obama's term is of significance. <img src="http://www.shadowstats.com/imgs/sgs-emp.gif?hl=ad&t=1322845209"> http://www.shadowstats.com/alternate_data/unemployment-charts
Compare it to MIT's billion price project ( can't link it here via a picture) You'll notice MIT's BPP is similar to the BLS whereas Shadowstats is in another world. I don't believe shadowstat's methodology. Really, the annual rate of inflation is not over 10%.
Shadowstats uses the methodology from pre-revision (back in 94, I think it was - it will tell you). MIT's project uses a different calculation and neither refutes the other method. The BLS is a whole different story as the published methodology is flawed and has been called out numerous times. As for whether the inflation rate is over 10%, that depends on what items you are referring to. Peanut Butter, for instance, is up 22% vs. prior year.
My property taxes are up 14% this year, while my house is worth less. BTW, so far as I know none of the inflation calculations look at taxes. It's my single greatest expense by far, and not even counted.
