This is boeings income share for 2019. 49% Commercial airplanes. ($45.6B) 30% Defense, space and Security systems ($27.4B) 21% Global services ($19B) >1% Boeing capital ($300M)
“You’ve got too many planes.” - Buffett That is not going to be good for BA. Wonder what happens to the open orders under these circumstances and whether any force majeure clause will apply
BA has enough cash to weather the storm. People will fly again. They can't help themselves. Nobody's taking a boat to Europe or Fiji. Every year before the CV19, more and more people were traveling. We will resume back to normal soon.
Looks like I should have sold my DAL a few days ago, when it was up a decent %. Oh well, guess this one moves from the "Trade" to the "Investment" column.
S&P did rate Boeing one level above junk. The 25B note placement at 4.6% above treasuries is encouraging, but my bet is that passenger traffic for next two years will be lower than last year's. I do have two biases - 1) till COVID I was in top bracket in terms of passenger miles and 2) I own puts on BA and UAL
Ahhhh, don't sweat it. Berkshire dumped Apple back in Feb and it barely moved before we had the big sell-off. Look where its at now. "Valley-girls" lol... Dude he has no idea what you're talking about. That whole thing died in like 1988. They're all fat assed and botoxed up now, collecting (the eternal) alimony checks, supporting dating websites, and desperately responding to anyone equally desperate enough to actually want to sleep with one em. Its 2020 bro... Jean Luke Picard is dead. ... just sayin.
