Usually ones that advocate war never been in one nor have any kids of age to be drafted. The difference before of highest debt was we had factories built before World War II and now we have no factories as they were made into condo's.
If you read my post correctly, you would realize that I DIDN'T ADVOCATE WAR AS A SOLUTION to all of these problems. I support Donald Trump as our only solution to better our country...and with that he creates possible tension with rest of the world by being tougher with them...I am willing to risk that...and its possible he may NEVER start a war. I'm not a believer in "start a war to fix everything" type of mentality. Please don't put words in my mouth. War is the ultimate worst along with disease and starvation. If your worried about death and suffering, why don't we eliminate all vehicles... more people die from accidents year after year than any war... 38,800 deaths and 4.4 million injuries in the US in 2015 (nat. safety council). Worldwide on average is 3,287 deaths a day(annual global statistics). How many of us have lost loved ones to car accidents...my mother lost her parents to a drunk driver in 1967. My point is...not many people are complaining about road deaths because they like their cars (toys/material possessions). Would you like to turn your cars in so as not to potentially contribute to the death toll on our roads? You should worry more about your kids on the roads than your kids in a war! How great are things right now in America...more people on food stamps than ever. I knew that my stance would not be popular, as I can see that more elite members giving you "likes" than I would ever get. Mindlessly advocating...I don't think so!
oh for crying out loud. I'll see you in the P&R basement. I must have used a trigger word like democrat or republican. What I should have said is Warrens vision for a good America must be very different from mine and maybe that would explain why he leans towards a party which doesn't usually have a reputation for being pro business. But they are very pro consumer.
True that on the war advocates. I would say that given a choice between owning Apple or the factory in China that makes iphones, I'll take Apple every time. Given the choice of an Apple research facility or a factory of any type in my town, I'll definitely choose Apple every time. It's a different world now, as evidenced by the fact we're communicating by the internet via intellectual property which is disproportionately produced in the U.S. by people educated at one of the disproportionate number of the best universities in the world that are also in the U.S. The U.S. is far and above the leader in the economic areas that count. Factories aren't where the value is in today's world, and haven't been for a long time. I can understand why white, rural high school or less graduates are upset with the world which no longer allows them to be top dog without earning it. We should do what we can to ensure those people have a place in our economy. However we absolutely should not allow them to burn it down because they don't like the situation they find themselves in and have decided our country's lost its way because of their myopic view of it.
Actually more people aren't of food stamps than ever (http://www.usatoday.com/story/news/2015/05/12/benefits-food-stamps-fewer/27175881/) and even if they were that's a pretty crappy reason to burn down our country. As to the rest, it's not really coherent to me, maybe I'm just too busy creating jobs as an entrepreneur to understand the hate.
Chances are very good manufacturing will come back to the US, but those factories will be robotic in nature.
yes, but we as a society should not to simply allow those true "workers" to perish because they can't adapt. If for no other reason they should be preserved as a National Heritage who built this country on their backs. I'm not so sure I want to live in a country that is only suitable for people like me who can easily fit in and who don't need to constantly be building something with their hands.
That's like saying the stock market isn't at all time highs because were a small % away from the actual high..when we all know were at all time highs right now...same as food stamps.
I don't believe in stupid wars...Vietnam. Maybe there was a decent purpose at first, but then it was badly mismanaged by our government...see...government is the problem again. I have a kid who will be high school age soon...yes...I would fight against a war for terrible reasons.
yes, and everyone of those robots needs a good operator, and a good mechanic. And by then a good operator will be worth about minimum wage.A good mechanic quite a bit more. At any rate, Warrens vision seems to be to create a world wide consumer class who will all buy the products he owns. Not that there is anything wrong with that.
