Warren 2020

  1. Quite so.

Even Joe needs to watch his arse, because african-americans are still looking for a winner.

Take the example of Barack Obama who is semi-black. He did not start lifting off in the polls in South Carolina until he had scored big points in Iowa and New Hampshire, yet they knew that he was black before then. You have to be able to go the distance in their view.

There is a lesson there for Kamala. Looks sorta black. but not enough to get lots of black votes. You have to comport as a winner with a track record.

And a lesson for Joe as well. Don't be an idiot telling people you dont need to do well in the early states. Neither the blacks nor whites nor whatevahs want to hear that.

Probably the rules get relaxed quite a bit for VP which is just a showhorse position.

    More proof Warren is waning:

I would argue that Warren would need to win both Iowa and New Hampshire to have a shot at the nomination. Right now she isn’t beating Biden in either state.

It is time to start talking about Buttigieg though because his numbers are going up and he doesn’t have too many policy problems.

You’re showing your ass on this. There is a ground floor level fight happening right now in the Democratic Party about IA and NH. Minority dem voters certainly would love to prove IA and NH are irrelevant and the dem primary doesn’t start until Nevada and SC.

True but Patrick is very Obama like imo.

I don't know their relationship other than both being democrats from Mass but this could also be a Warren/Patrick team effort.Even if Patrick doesn't take all of Bidens black support just taking some could knock Biden out .

Ive looked back to 1992 and 1 candidate has always gotten 70-90% of the black vote in Dem primaries and that candidate has won the nomination. If Patrick could split the black vote Warren would likely take the nomination and Warren would pick Patrick as VP.Just a thought.

Her lock em past and being unlikable doomed her with blacks imo.Booker allowed stop and frisk as mayor and that doomed him with blacks imo and he is also very unlikable.Patrick doesn't have those issues.

Booker is on some peace and love stuff and Harris came out of the gate on some left wing politics that don’t fly AA communities. It just doesn’t resonate.

  8. Booker is on the peace and love "Mr. Unity" stuff now - versus his Sparticus routine- because he wants to be a fungible, interchangeable part who can be anyone's VP. He knows he is not going to be the nominee.

Harris is a mixed bag who never found her niche. She is obviously much younger than the older ones but I think- much to her surprise- she is also too old for the progressive types. Yeh, to your point, she rode in on the left wing politics but she still suffers from a history of jackbooting tactics against blacks as a prosecutor. That dog don't hunt all that well with the post-Furgeson mindset among progressives, both black and white and other colors.

She was always- as I started saying very long ago- "a formula driven" candidate. If a woman, check yes. If of color, check yes. If younger, check yes. ...and so on down the line and then pretty soon you got yourself the ingredients to bake a dem candidate. Fine, except in the end, every recipe must contain "un certain je ne sais quoi" which she don't got. Or as Gertrude Stein said about Oakland, California (Kamala's home turf): "There is no there, there." Describes Skankala to a tee.

  9. Poco is smoking some stronnnnnnnnnnnng stuff these days.

Joe Biden and Warren is all you tards got after fielding 30 candidates?

    Man this is ugly.

Also, because I am not woke, I don't really know what a cis-gender woman is, but don't think for a second that I am asking anyone to explain it. I have no need to know.

Warren can explain that to the farmers in Wisconsin and I will listen. If cis-genders are the backbone of democracy she should spend some time explaining it to them.

Warren declares ‘gender-nonconforming’ Americans the ‘backbone of our democracy’

On November 7, Warren thanked the group for endorsing her, declaring in the process that “black trans and cis women, gender-nonconforming, and nonbinary people are the backbone of our democracy"
