  1. Could be.

They are all definitely working on a plan to make Mexico and the U.S one country.

Oh, almost to the penny what Trump took from the Pentagon to finance his wall that "Mexico is paying for."

  3. Building a wall and defending the border are a critical part of the defense of this country.

Mattis and Kelley were unable to get that message. They resisted the use of defense resources for anything other than protecting OTHER countries.

    Thus, bye-bye to them.

  5. Oh gee. Trump tries to strengthen the border or stop illegals from moving here, and someone brings a lawsuit.

    Never would have guessed.

Just part of the dems 2020 platform theme: ILLEGALS FIRST-AMERICANS LAST.

  6. This from a guy who voted for a bottle blonde man in his 70s. And strawberry blonde at that.

It is what it is. Where are the surveys and environmental impact statements?

  8. Yeh sure. In your world maybe.

But if you ever get a grade school education you will find that "trillion" and "billion" are sorta the same but not really. They are both big numbers. Close enough for the government work that you did though. No need to get bogged down in details.

Otherwise. Warren's plan calls for 3 trillion.

And Trump diverted 3.5 billion, or thereabouts.

They are same "almost to the penny" as you said?

    Let the viewers decide.

  9. I think you mischaracterized it....the lawsuits are not about him strengthening the border.

It is about him not getting the funding he wanted from his GOP controlled Congress and then Dem controlled Congress so he wants to steal the money from other appropriations. it is a valid lawsuit and the purpose of the funds is irrelevant. Intent is not a mitigating factor in this type of political override.

It is an ultra vires exertion of Executive power to take an appropriation approved by Congress where the power lies and unilaterally override it.

i would think all this harsh criticism of Obama taking unilateral actions would prevent taking a hypocritical stance with Trump doing the same thing. Congress controls the purse strings. If trump could not get his own party to approve his plan when he had 100% power then he does not have the power to override Congress and direct funds to where ever he wants. Seems a good leader with total control over government would have gotten the spending passed but apparently the Art of the Deal couldn't close the deal.

    piezoe and Cuddles like this.
  10. Other way around.

The lawsuits are all about stopping Trump from reducing illegal immigration. That is the overarching goal.

The various lawsuits attacking the method of funding the wall are just the means by which they attack. If not one thing, then another. Whatever Soros can fund, and he can fund a lot.

I mean the dems are not going to step forward and say "we object to the transfer of funds but let's work together to find another source." I dont exactly think they have that as a goal, eh?

100% about making progress toward open borders.
