I realize the qualifications to get into law school are very high. Do you have the stats as to how many who get accepted donât finish? On the other end of the spectrum the qualifications to be accepted at a trading school are quite low. Do you have the money?
I applaud your sense of ethics and thank you, because of posts like yours I have hesitated to attend the sales pitch. I donât think youâve addressed what it was you expected to be taught that you werenât. Can you be specific as to what part of the curriculum you found wanting? Looking at the course agenda it looks pretty basic to me. They call it a foundation course. Surely you checked out a course outline before you signed up. Obviously your expectations werenât met; the price seems a little excessive for what is offered. But what exactly would have made you happy?
Hmmm? Fascinating. I am continually amused by the reflexive responses from you and now you have added three more people to the conversation. Or is it really one person with three more aliases? Do you ever take the time to actually read what I write or do you just automatically send out a reflexive rebuttal? The fact that you continually rebutt proves to everyone who reads this that you are connected with Online Trading Academy. So please, keep rebutting you are proving my point. And did I hit a nerve when I pointed out that the supposed VP of operations, I think his name was Gino Lolobridgia or something like that responded to a rebutal with an alias as riffpatrol?? Well DUH! You guys are so transparent. It is too funny. I said it before and I repeat, Orlando is a large city but all of the advertising you guys are doing will not overcome the word of mouth bad reporting by people in this city who have gone through the Online Trading Academy experience. Word gets around. Advertising won't overcome it. Look at all of the companies that have come before and fallen and are now out of business. The merchant John Wanamaker used to say that there is two ways your customers will talk about you: either if they are happy and you have delivered on your product or if they have been cheated and unhappy. Here is the tipoff: The unhappy people will tell four to five times more people than the happy ones will. And when you have employees like the bunch who were here last January at the ALL STAR EVENT while in the hotel bragging how they come on messageboards like this one and admit that they LIE what does that say about the people who represent this company? And what credibility is there? No clients refer to this company as OTA, only employees. And I take exception to being referred to as a "basher" unless the definiton of a "basher" is someone who reports problems and poor service about a companies product or service. So let's see, before you were calling me dumb and stupid and now you are calling me a basher. What name will you be calling me next? You may have scared others away. Sorry, I'm in for the duration but here is a novel idea. Instead of rebutting me and others who have come before me and trying to pretend that this company is something that it clearly is not, why not clean up your act, improve the product, train your salespeople (people skills would be a good start), give them some real sales training instead of tha 1970's boiler room securities by that guy who claims he is a former marine and used to work for Lehman Brothers or perhaps have a townhall meeting in your center and listen to the clients instead of just passing off any and all complaints as being from "bashers" Would you mind if I came to your ALL STAR EVENT coming up? Would be interesting to see if you have more than 50 people this time and how many will actually stay. And how come it is being held in your center instead of the hotel you used last time? Financial issues?
EMG wrote: Now that u have basic knowledge about trading, u should place this quote below on your fridge: More than 90% of small traders lose in a "Spectacular Fashion." They just lose!! I hope u will be those 1 in 100 traders make it in this game. Good Luck Is he saying that 90% of Online Trading Academy graduates lose in a "Spectacular Fashion? I thought the number was higher than that.
Go back and read your first few posts on this thread. I take it youâre an Online Trading Academy plant as you refer to them several times as OTA. I did take the time to read what you have written; One interesting tidbit on 10-16-11 Are we to assume youâve been sucked in by other companies. How else could you make a comparison? Unless youâre a OTA plant. Maybe you can get around to answering the questions I asked up thread.
Let me ask you a question. You say that you attended the "Freebie Workshops" but didn't enroll, was that because you saw what so many others who walked out saw, what I've been complaining about OR because you didn't have the money? OR perhaps because Online Trading Academy employees get to attend for FREE so you didn't have to pay??? And you claim you are not connected with Online Trading Academy as a staff member but want to know what could better and how to improve their services? That doesn't make any sense, unless you are an employee and if in fact your comments were true and you did attend their shirade called a Power Trading Workshop" then you would already know that. So what was the reason you didn't sign up? Hmmmm? We already know. because you are an employee and don't have to pay. Or you didn't have the money. OR you saw what I had to attend the class to see. I doubt if it was the last reason. And how come no comments about the black dude that wears the fancy clothes (all gifts from relatives) claims he makes $2,000 a day trading futures when in fact he only trades in a demo account and is broke. Tells everyone he drives a $140 Mercedes when in fact he rides to work in a $375,000 bus. Hey what's up what that crap? Ditto for that other guy using 1980's boiler room securities pitches. "Give me 10% of of your trust and let me earn the other 90%" LOL! AND then he tell sus he has all of these job offer from Rich Dad, Russ Whitney, yada, yada, yada. Like I said, why not have a town hall meeting or better yet, perhaps all of the dissatisfied Online Trading Academy clients should converge at the ALL STAR EVENT and tell everyone there what Online Trading Academy or OTA as you call them is really all about. Now that would be fun and interesting. The only problem is that their center is so small that with more than 50 people, it would like being in a sardine can. And trust me, anything that I or anyone else writes here publicaly pales in comparison to what people around Central Florida and surrounding area who have visited this center are saying. Remember John Wanamaker? You'd be wise to heed his advice. So let me guess, you are the supposed VP that Gino Lollabragetta guy right aka riffpatrol and God knows how many other aliases. Why else would you be so adamant on rebutting me and everyone else who has come before me with absolute b.s. answers? Okay Gino? And as for the other comment with your alias about how many people fail in trading, why not post audited testimonials showing how well OTA (there I said it. OTA) clients are making following your fabulous advice and once again, if these trainers are really trading and making a profit and only teach for "passion" and "love of industry" YEAH RIGHT, show us some statements, confirmation slips or tax returns proving it. Let's see where their primary income is from, trading or as employees working for OTA??? And how about showing a audited report on how many people are successfully making money with OTA. Note I said audited. Hey even the sleasy MLM companies now have to provide proof of income and it is quite revealing on how many of these companies claiming so many people earning $10,000 a month are really earning about $2,000 a year.
Read what King of shorts wrote back on 1013/10 Also I have noted many people referring to Online Trading Academy as OLT but only Dead dog calls them OTA which is what their employees call it too. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- This sounds suspect though about those classes. seriously all these "Seminars" smell like snakeoil. I was driving in my car on a Saturday listening to the the OLT [On Line Trading] radio program on 1010 am in NC. I was the 5th caller and won a free intro class to the school plus I could bring a friend. The class was from 10 AM to 2 PM the following Saturday 6/26/10 with breakfast and lunch provided. The presentation was very professional and I was impressed with the few trading techniques they reviewed with us. However, it turned into Time Share presentation when I was called to a side room for a one on one to discuss my trading plan with a specialist. I informed Bill that I did not bring my check book and was collecting information to decide whether to attend or not. I thanked him and went back to the main room that was in progress reviewing trades for the previous week. I was then called out of the class again with my guest for another side bar chit chat and I decided to call it a day. I said thanks but it was time for us to leave. Scott, the owner, proceeded to berate us and said "what...you can't stay...or was it the free lunch that brought you!" My guest and I looked at each other and was wondering what the heck just happened. I did not appreciate the strong arm Time Share tactics and the owner Scott was a complete ass. I would not recommend anyone to attend a free class or sign up for a $7,999 seven day course. Oh...does anyone need a On Line Trading School pen? Scott...this is why I attended...to take your pens. Date of Post: 2010-04-30 Review: Last year I paid S$80 to watch a live trading session by their expert trader, Ehrlic, who introduced himself as the chief analyst for a managed fund worth $150 million. In quick succession, he took 4 trades and lost all of them. I immediately made an excuse to go for a pee and didn't bother to come back to watch him make a further fool of himself. I went to the bar across the road for a cool beer. 2008-06-06 Review: BAD NEWS - Over 20 of us in their class which cost each of us $5,000.00. During the class the instructor could not make a winning trade if his life depended on it, not one winning trade. I doubt anyone ever made a dime with what was taught, in fact everyone probably lost even more money, on top of the over priced cost of the class. OTA are SLICK salesmen and are simply looking to make a buck off of everyone and also make money off students trades as introducing brokers, etc. Very disappointing! Sick to my stomach over what the class cost me. What a mistake! I'm still kicking myself! -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Although this was their center in N.C. looks like the same crap that happens in Orlando all the time. Nuff said

Semoran Blvd. Suite 506 Orlando, FL 32822 10/25/2011 - 8am Note the asterick. Is that to keep disgruntled students from attending and sharing their misfortune with propective suckers??? Top instructors= top salesmen. HINT: Don't bring your wallet, check book or credit cards. Wide variety of topics= various ways to extricate your money from you. They will also have prizes. This means a certifcate to use to buy their already overpriced programs. Free food= a lousy sub and cheap danish HOWEVER, when I went there, there was a homeless guy who used a pay phone, called on their toll free number and registered. He got off the street, OTA paid the phone bill and gave him a free meal and he got to socialize. In short, the homeless guy pulled one over on Online Trading Academy. Perhaps they should hire him as one of their salespeople. That is pretty slick. Hooray for the homeless guy!
Please note. On the above reply I meant to say a $140,000 Mercedes. Of course most of you already know that but I know one person who will make a wise crack about it. Along with his multiples aliases.
