Take a look at: http://www.pcnation.com/web/details.asp?item=C99567 Two digital outputs for not a lot of money, runs through PCI. For AGP, there is ASUS: http://www.newegg.com/app/ViewProductDesc.asp?description=14-121-151&depa=0 For somewhat less.
I had the Matrox 450 PCI version and it ran flawlessly on my comp. However, the maximum resolution using DVI for this card is 1280x1024 which would be suffice for most of 19inches monitors. I have came to love my tripple 213Ts so I had to dump the card over Fleebay. I currently running 3 ATI Radeon 7500 PCI and have no problem even though my DELL 1600sc is very picky at Videocard (I had to install drivers in safe mode). There is a minor flaw with those Radeon that the system sometimes become unresponsive(less than 3 seconds). Rumor has that ATI is not as good as Nvidia in 2D so I might move over Nvidia. Will report when I do
Thank you for the response. I will look at Nvidia FX5200 V9520 VS. It seems there are not so many cards that support double DVI connection.
Hi all, I have never used digital, only analog. I use 19inch Sony S93 monitors right now with Matrox G550 cards. My displays run at 1280 by 1024 pixels, 32bit color and are UNBELIEVEBLY CRISP. I have been looking at full digital setups and can't see anything better compared to what I have right now. Perhaps for gaming or other applications this may make a difference, not for trading or programming. BTW my G550 gives identical results in Linux.
