But can we all focus on the old and sick people that are dying for 1 second, okay that's enough yep we've gone and screwed the world, for the young maybe, for the old should never happen. As soon as I become a burden to anyone, it's time to call it a day, Wednesday it is LOL
Sorry, I should have posted it in the first post: https://www.bccourier.com/the-fed-has-been-investigating-epidemics-for-600-years/
Thanks. Having the actual article is key, because in the vast majority cases they're referring to the main impact of the epidemics was an actual loss of a significant portion of the workforce in a short period of time from death. In this case we actually have the opposite problem, a loss of a significant part of the work in a short period of time while the workforce size remains the same. As a result, it doesn't really make sense to apply the impact of past pandemics to today's unless you were to do so in a convoluted, "do the opposite" kind of way which isn't necessarily relevant either.
Care Home worker is about the only group effected, there will be less hospital requirement aswell for a while as it's mainly killed people highly dependent on the health service to stay alive. Short term though as most of the people dying would of died this year and others will get old / unwell to fill there places pretty quickly. FEAR is the issue, if you think most of the population will go back to normal and go to the pub / cinema you'd be wrong, we've scared millions into bad mental health.
