1. You used a GISS yearly chart in your first post on this thread. (see your post below) I then provided the GISS monthly chart. You can see on the monthly GISS charts temps are going down. The only argument you could make is that the people who made the chart with the reference data changed the data. But, I provided 2 different sources for it... and I showed other data sets that matched. You are now trying to bring in another data set which could be weight ocean temps far more than land temps. Here is the GISS dataset from NASA http://data.giss.nasa.gov/
yeah there is something wrong about bible based sterwardship of the environment. you are radical leftist troll.. by the way he is a NASA scientist. http://www.drroyspencer.com/about/ Roy W. Spencer received his Ph.D. in meteorology at the University of Wisconsin-Madison in 1981. Before becoming a Principal Research Scientist at the University of Alabama in Huntsville in 2001, he was a Senior Scientist for Climate Studies at NASA’s Marshall Space Flight Center, where he and Dr. John Christy received NASA’s Exceptional Scientific Achievement Medal for their global temperature monitoring work with satellites. Dr. Spencer’s work with NASA continues as the U.S. Science Team leader for the Advanced Microwave Scanning Radiometer flying on NASA’s Aqua satellite. He has provided congressional testimony several times on the subject of global warming. Dr. Spencer’s research has been entirely supported by U.S. government agencies: NASA, NOAA, and DOE. He has never been asked by any oil company to perform any kind of service. Not even Exxon-Mobil. Dr. Spencer’s first popular book on global warming, Climate Confusion(Encounter Books), is now available at Amazon.com and BarnesAndNoble.com.
I think we figured out the reason why the NOAA data is seems so out of sync with the rest... https://bobtisdale.wordpress.com/20...lower-troposphere-temperature-anomaly-update/ Figure 1 – GISS Land-Ocean Temperature Index NCEI GLOBAL SURFACE TEMPERATURE ANOMALIES NOTE: The NCEI only produces the product with the manufactured-warming adjustments presented in the paper Karl et al. (2015). As far as I know, the former version of the reconstruction is no longer available online. The Oddities in NOAA’s New “Pause-Buster” Sea Surface Temperature Product – An Overview of Past Posts On the Monumental Differences in Warming Rates between Global Sea Surface Temperature Datasets during the NOAA-Picked Global-Warming Hiatus Period of 2000 to 2014 Introduction: The NOAA Global (Land and Ocean) Surface Temperature Anomaly reconstruction is the product of the National Centers for Environmental Information (NCEI), which was formerly known as the National Climatic Data Center (NCDC). NCEI merges their new “pause buster” Extended Reconstructed Sea Surface Temperature version 4 (ERSST.v4) with the new Global Historical Climatology Network-Monthly (GHCN-M) version 3.3.0 for land surface air temperatures. The ERSST.v4 sea surface temperature reconstruction infills grids without temperature samples in a given month. NCEI also infills land surface grids using statistical methods, but they do not infill over the polar oceans when sea ice exists. When sea ice exists, NCEI leave a polar ocean grid blank. The source of the NCEI values is through their Global Surface Temperature Anomalieswebpage. Click on the link to Anomalies and Index Data.) Update: The June 2016 NCEI global land plus sea surface temperature anomaly was +0.90 deg C. See Figure 2. It increased slightly (an increase of about +0.02 deg C) since May 2016, opposing the continued decline in the GISS product.
every respected expert in the world can see for themselves that the earth has started cooling in multiple data sets. Its not an opinion ... its a fact that multiple data sets show cooling. The question is whether the cooling will continue.
You are saying that every respected climate expert in the world is wrong about how man is causing rapid warming. And that is laughable. This is current to June 2016. Look at it.
Let's go back before 1880 - to about 100AD for so. Let's map the surface temperatures during the Medieval Warming period. All you have above is one half cycle in a long term sine wave. It's nearly meaningless from a long term planet perspective.
