Why not both? Donnie got an Osprey destroyed and a seal killed trying to hunt the 8 yr old of a terrorist in Yemen and dropped MOAB on Aghanistan days into office.

The cultists will just revert to hypocrite mode now, much like they do w/the deficit:

Iran Rejects Nuclear Deal Talks With U.S. Proposed by Europe
The rejection came days after President Biden ordered retaliatory strikes against Iranian-backed militias in eastern Syria.

Iran on Sunday rejected an offer to negotiate directly with the United States in an informal meeting proposed by Europeans to revive the nuclear deal that President Donald J. Trump exited nearly three years ago.

A spokesman for Iran’s foreign ministry, Saeed Khatibzadeh, said recent actions taken by Washington and Europeans had led Iran to conclude that the “time was not right” to hold such talks. His remarks came days after President Biden ordered retaliatory strikes against Iranian-backed militias in eastern Syria that were tied to recent attacks against American and allied personnel in Iraq.

“There has been no change in America’s positions and actions,” Mr. Khatibzadeh said in a foreign ministry statement. “The Biden administration has not set aside Trump’s maximum pressure policy, nor has it announced its commitments” under the 2015 nuclear deal abandoned by Mr. Trump.

U.S. promises to back Ukraine in dispute with Russia, Zelenskiy says
KYIV (Reuters) - Ukraine’s president said he had received assurances from U.S. President Joe Biden in a phone call on Friday that Washington would not abandon Ukraine in the face of Russian “aggression”.

“We discussed the situation in Donbass in detail. President Biden assured me that Ukraine will never be left alone against Russia’s aggression,” President Volodymyr Zelenskiy said in a televised statement after he and Biden spoke.

Taiwan, U.S. to strengthen maritime coordination after China law

TAIPEI (Reuters) -Taiwan and the United States have signed their first agreement under the Biden administration, establishing a Coast Guard Working Group to coordinate policy, following China’s passing of a law that allows its coast guard to fire on foreign vessels.

The new government of U.S. President Joe Biden has moved to reassure Chinese-claimed Taiwan that its commitment to the island is rock solid.

The defacto Taiwanese ambassador to the United States, Hsiao Bi-khim, signed the agreement in Washington on Thursday, her office said in a statement.

“It is our hope that with the new Coast Guard Working Group, both sides will forge a stronger partnership and jointly contribute even more to a free and open Indo-Pacific region.”

U.S. Acting Assistant Secretary of State for East Asian and Pacific Affairs Sung Kim was at the signing ceremony, the office said.

The American Institute in Taiwan, which handles U.S. ties with the island, said the United States supported “Taiwan’s meaningful participation and contributions to issues of global concern, including in maritime security and safety”.

Taiwan is upgrading its coast guard with new ships, which can be drafted into naval service in the event of war, as the island deals with increasing encroachments from Chinese fishing boats and sand dredgers in Taiwan-controlled waters.

While the United States, like most countries, has no formal diplomatic ties with Taiwan, it is the island’s most important international backer and arms supplier.

China passed a law in January that for the first time explicitly allows its coast guard to fire on foreign vessels, causing concern regionally and in Washington. China has rebuffed those worries.

Taiwan Premier Su Tseng-chang said on Friday China’s new law had shocked the region and that those with “common values” needed to work together to protect peace.

“This unilateral request for the coast guard to use force will cause great tension and pressure on neighbouring countries,” he told reporters.

China also has maritime sovereignty disputes with Japan in the East China Sea and with several Southeast Asian countries in the South China Sea.

Israel will act to counter Iranian nuclear threat without US - Netanyahu
"With or without an agreement, we will do everything to prevent Iran from arming itself with a nuclear weapon, because that is our existence."

Israel may act on its own to counter the Iranian nuclear threat, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu warned on Monday night, as US Secretary of State Antony Blinken headed to the region.

Blinken's Tuesday visit to Israel comes just before a fifth round of indirect negotiations between the US and Iran to return to the 2015 Iran deal on Thursday.

US Special Envoy for Iran Robert Malley said of the negotiations, "The latest round of talks was constructive and saw meaningful progress. But much work still needs to be done."

He expressed his hope that the fifth round will "further advance toward a mutual return to compliance."

Blinken himself and another senior State Department official briefing on the matter did not say Iran was on the agenda for the visit, but Israeli officials plan to raise the matter in their meetings with him.

At an award ceremony for excellent Mossad agents on Monday, Netanyahu said: “The top mission for every one of you is to prevent Iran from arming itself with a nuclear weapon. That is the supreme mission,” Netanyahu said
Netanyahu said he "values our friend the US very much” and their support is “part of our national security.”

However, he added: "Ensuring that the Ayatollahs will not stop the thousands of years of existence of the Jewish people will require us to make courageous and independent decisions.
"With or without an agreement, we will do everything to prevent Iran from arming itself with a nuclear weapon, because that is our existence," he stated.

Netanyahu had warned multiple times last month, following the attack on Iran's Natanz nuclear plant, that Israel would defend itself against Iranian threats.
He stressed that Jerusalem would work to combat Tehran’s nuclear ambitions.

Reports at the time claimed that the Mossad was behind the attack at the Natanz nuclear plant in Iran.

It was the second attack on Natanz that foreign reports have blamed on Israel within the past year, with an explosion and fire at a facility at the site in July reportedly impacting Iran’s nuclear program significantly.

The most recent attack against Natanz took place a day after Iran began injecting uranium hexafluoride gas into advanced IR-6 and IR-5 centrifuges at Natanz and was revealed as US Secretary of Defense Lloyd Austin was visiting Israel.

Tensions have been rising between Israel and Iran amid a number of attacks on Iranian and Israeli maritime vessels, with recent reports claiming that Israel has hit dozens of Iranian ships in recent years.

Tensions were already high between the two nations after the Fakhrizadeh assassination and reported attempts by Iran to carry out revenge attacks on Israeli embassies around the world.
