War Optimism

  1. Unfortunately I do not think that is the objective. We are civil and we are only looking for a few individuales and whoever stands in our way, but if the trickery continues and we continue to be had, well than unneeded casualties may occurr.

Well, as the saying goes: "Fighting for peace is like fucking for virginity"

How civil you are, has been amply demonstrated in Vietnam. Ever been to Hanoi or Hue? Enjoy the view of the ruins of buildings that had survived 1000 years and more, until the "civil ones" got a go...
Yes, and you are only lookig for a few individuals! You have a list of the ones you are after? The Bagdad telephone directory!

during the illegal bombing of Cambodia the "civil" U. S. killed 600,000 "individuals who stood in their way" - and then helped Pol Pot to murder a few more millions of undesirable individuals.

1973: US Senate votes to stop Cambodia bombing

The carpet bombing that had started covertly in 1970 to stop America's enemies from Vietnam using Cambodia as a base outraged the American public and crippled Cambodia as a nation.

Under pressure from Congress, the Nixon administration finally ended the bombing in August 1973.

The Cambodian army gradually lost more territory to the Khmer Rouge who began a reign of terror in 1975.

Prince Sihanouk became head of state for a brief period before he was forced into political exile by Pol Pot.

For the next four years Pol Pot oversaw the deaths of an estimated 1.7 million people, by execution, forced labour and starvation.

The Khmer Rouge enjoyed support from the United States and other Asian nations because of its opposition to America's enemy Vietnam.

The Vietnamese forced out Pol Pot in 1979 and withdrew from Cambodia 10 years later. In 1993 the monarchy was restored with Sihanouk as king.

  7. You are the President of the United States. Scientists have discovered a
meteor that is headed towards the earth. They have calculated that it will strike France in 2 days, at approximately 2:30 A.M. The meteor is large enough to completely wipe France from the face of the earth forever.
France and the United Nations have requested that the United States send
all available ships and aircraft to help evacuate the country.
Among the ships and planes you could be sending are many that are being
used to fight the war on terror overseas. As the President, you must
    decide:

    Do you: -

    A) Stay up late on the night of the impact to watch the coverage
    live?

    or do you: -

    B) Tape it and watch it in the morning

  8. Last time 6 million people were murdered was NAZI Germany, and Switzerland played a key role, in hiding the money stolen from those six million.

MSFE not that I believe you are Swiss, you are really from the Saddam School of Government.

  9. you are making analogies that have nothing to do with the current conflict ie. A meteor wiping France. The meteor is a foreign object hitting earth, there is no moral issue in trying to destroy it or evacuate the country. Although, anyone smart would know that if that were to happen, there would not be a need for the US to intervene, just flee to the border or send nukes in space to destroy it.

    2) Saddam Hussein might be a Hitler in his own way which does not create the urging necessity to kill half the Iraqi nation. Everyone knows that this liberation is nothing of a cake party. If Saddam was really a threat to anyone, I think we would get consensus in the UN. There is a moral issue at stake here, no one can argue this. The one's that do argue are in denial and just like in the market are not paying attention to the trend.
