Not by the FAA, no major airline or large corporate flight department would hire her without a college degree though. FAA requirements and employer/insurance requirements are like night and day. Have you ever noticed you don't see too many black pilots? What could possibly be the reason? Is the FAA racist you think?
It think it is cultural, like one comic says, black people don't ski.....we aren't really interested in flying either. But I will educate them, as I don't think they know a high school drop out can fly a plane!
