03-20-06 04:40 PM WELL, I must say Selling stocks on the way up...isn't always the best move..... CWPC---Sold 3000 shares at 5.46, Sold 3000 shares at 5.91 The dam thing closed at 6.18 (23.6% higher today)....Oh well I now am back to the 3000 shares I originally purchased last year at .27c for a 2030% return......BOOYA....I think Cramer would agree.....It just kills me that he never talks about OTC listings......I know exactly why!!!!.....But if I read a few of their last articles right, CWPC has hired an expert on Sarbanes-Oxley to help them move off the OTC and onto a major exchange....If this is the case wouldn't it be intelligent to own the stock before this happens.....HELLO....Oh Well---I just want him to pop it a few more dollars when he mentions it on his show( And he will One Day----When It's been on the AMEX or NDAQ and trading at $17.00----He won't be late though---- in 10 years it will be one of the best Oil Sands Play in Canada).......GREED IS GOOD......This company owns the land right next to SUNCOR land in the Athabasca Oil Sands Region of Canada....They just got approved for another 150 Core hole drilling program.... Just thought I Mention This one again for like the 10th time in this journal.....HINT--- HINT (But I wouldn't be a buyer at this level---I expect it to fall back near $5.30 level if oil keeps declining) www.canwestpetroleum.com $COSTAverageMAN Attachment: cwpc.gif This has been downloaded 16 time(s). I love making predictions and having them come true!!!(Even if it took 5 months...OH WELL....CANWEST WAS ADDED TO THE AMEX $COSTAverageMAN
Yes my perception is this.... Example Good up day---If I can pick the correct sectors/stocks to outperform the market during decent/good up days, this will more than offset the decline in the short positions Example Good Down day---My picks will hold up better than the market and these days should hopefully be green as well My short positions are overwieght on small and mid cap funds where as my portfolio consist of many stocks that are Large Cap.. My perception here is that Large will finally outperform small cap I'm also implemting a few option strategies to this currently to confuse myself even.... All in All I'm not looking to outperform the market for the rest of the year, just to keep from any dramatic downturn that could occur without going fully into cash Also I'm about as confused as I have ever been when it comes to the direction of this market....So I figure I will try to cover my ass while trying to stay long... $COSTAverageMAN
08-25-06 03:34 PM Added JOYG to the portfolio....I will look to add more shares in the low 30's if we get there... Attachment: joyg.gif This has been downloaded 21 time(s). Yes, I would say luck(aka...educated gambling) and karma have a good bit to due with such a big move in JOYG today, but you gotta love a 21% move in a nasdaq 100 company.... Anyone else see the triple bottom (hint...SUPPORT) below $37.00....I tried to point it out on 8/25....I had a good feeling earnings and outlook would be strong enough to get momentum started again and JOYG had almost been cut in half from the early May highs....Another example of how to properly buy before an earnings announcement... Had to cancel my order to buy 5000 shares at 32.84 and 30.99..I doubt those prices get touched anytime soon..In case they missed, I wanted to catch some panic sell orders... $COSTAVERAGEMAN

For those out there that had a bad DAY!!! HAVE YOU HEARD ABOUT THE TWO DUCK HUNTERS FROM WISCONSIN? ABSOLUTELY A TRUE STORY HEARD ON A WISCONSIN RADIO STATION REPORTING ON THE INCIDENT. A guy buys a new Lincoln Navigator for $42, 500.00 (with monthly payments of $560.00). He and a friend go duck hunting in mid-winter; and of course all of the lakes are frozen. These two guys go on a lake with their GUNS, a DOG, and of course the new NAVIGATOR. They decide they want to make a natural looking water area for the ducks, something forthe decoys to float on. Now making a hole in the ice large enough to invite a passing duck, is going to take a little more power than the average drill auger can produce. So, out of the back of the new Navigator comes a stick of dynamite with a short 40 second-fuse. Now our two Rocket Scientists, afraid they might slip on the ice while trying to run away after lighting the fuse (and becoming toast, along with the Navigator), decide on the following course of action: they light the 40 second fuse; then, with a mighty thrust, they throw the stick of dynamite as far away as possible. Remember a couple of paragraphs back when I mentioned the NAVIGATOR, the GUNS, and the DOG...??? Let's talk about the dog: A highly trained Black Lab used for RETRIEVING. Especially things thrown by the owner. You guessed it: the dog takes off across the ice at a high rate of speed and grabs the stick of dynamite, with the burning 40-second fuse, just as it hits the ice. The two men swallow, blink, start waving their arms and, with veins in their necks swelling to resemble stalks of rhubarb, scream and holler at the dog to stop. The dog, now apparently cheered on by his master, keeps coming. One hunter panics, grabs the shotgun and shoots the dog. The shotgun is loaded with #8 bird shot, hardly big enough to stop a Black Lab. The dog stops for a moment, slightly confused then continues on. Another shot, and this time the dog, still standing, becomes really confused and of course terrified, thinks these two geniuses have gone insane. The dog takes off to find cover, under the brand new Navigator. The men continue to scream as they run. The red hot exhaust pipe on the truck touches the dogs rear end, he yelps, drops the dynamite under the truck and takes off after his master. Then """"""""""BOOOOOOOOOOOOM""""""""""!!!! The truck is blown to bits and sinks to the bottom of the lake, leaving the two idiots standing there with..... "I can't believe this just happened" looks on their faces. The insurance company says that sinking a vehicle in a lake by illegal use of explosives is NOT COVERED by the policy. He still had yet to make the first of those $560.00 a month payments...The dog is okay... >> >>> Newspaper item from Wisconsin... $COSTAverageMAN
