Now, Now let's not go overboard and get carried away. But it certainly looks more competent than the current response.
The very fact that you or anyone is critiquing Trump makes it political. That is my point, it's a political discussion which has political ramifications, and to deny that people aren't exploiting that is just silly. Why would any politician of any stripe pass up such an opportunity? Why would a media outlet of any political bias just leave it alone? Just because it's about health and how that is being managed doesn't mean it cannot be used as a political tool at the same time. The two can and are happening in the same space, like everything else.
If Trump had a competent response to an critical national health emergency then he would not be strongly criticized. Maybe he needs to step up and be a Leader.
Tell that to Andrew Cuomo and Gretchen Wittmer. The last I checked their states had the highest death rates. I am sure you think they are doing a heck of a job. President Donald Trump has no control over the individual states and their ineptitudes. That is all on these extreme liberal Democrat governors. They are doing a fine job killing their own voters on their own.
No, competency is most definitely objective. That's why even a 3rd grader knows this when taking a test
Not it politics, not even one little bit. If it were about 90 percent of politicians would be out on their ass tomorrow, and by unanimous consent.
Lets not bring up Cuomo and his decision to send Covid patients into Nursing homes. Kind of a sticky subject. If we're talking about competency or lack thereof that decision has got to be one of the worst. But again, we're not being political here so it is hands off...for Democrats
