Want to see George Zimmerman beat within an inch of his life

  1. 1) I would not personally choose to abort unless life-threatening, but I am "limited" (gestational time) pro choice

    2) Sure, let them marry, no skin in that game. Why shouldn't they legally inherit? Largely a religious (econ positive) argument... I am an atheist. Awesome for population control. States' rights? FU Utah.

    3) Absolutely. Largely a flat tax argument. Initially revenue deficit but a rev surplus within 5Y and a massive driver of domestic growth.

Social safety net. I grew up in the wealthiest town (at the time) in the US (Kenilworth, IL). My dad lost $80MM in 1987 with Fossett. I had a childhood g/f who lived in a large home w/o heat or adequate food as the divorce left them unable to make ends meet. Mother was suffering from MS and hanged herself when the daughter (g/f) was 16yo. Rich or poor; the experience of her coming to my parents house for a meal left an indelible impression. I am not in favor (at all) of institutionalized, generational Welfare. Very limited food and housing aid.

I'd say you're fairly centered, with a slight left lean socially, and right lean fiscally. The state thing is a big reason why you wouldn't simply fall into the Libertarian basket.

It's probably just my perception of seeing most of your "debating" on topics that tend to promote a more liberal belief. It's probably just coincidence.

  3. I'd str*ngle Pelosi, figuratively/meta-speaking. Yeah, I am not conveniently definable. I think the majority hard-right to be Luddites and largely uneducated and primarily act/react out of fear and stupidity. All the ppl I know on the left are of the limo-variety. I spent 10Y in higher education and worked as an FSO for years after that. I know govt waste first-hand.

Stupidity, based/founded in religion stumps any political classification.

  4. I know a guy who's somehow been on unemployment for years. Made an excellent VP-level wage (non-executive member) of $200-$250K with bonus. Guy makes Romney look like Pelosi.

I can't reconcile the hypocrisy of accepting what is essentially Welfare to the denuement of those who are receiving the same (but started impoverished). Who deserves it more? Or at all? A guy with a $1MM 401k or the mofo who's eating out of garbage cans? Excluding the practical aspects; htf can he have the unmitigated gall to bitch about the poor? There is no argument about how much he's paid into the system. It hasn't covered two months of his bennies and the hindsight argument is that he's paid into the system, yet he would bitch incessantly of what was taken out of his check. The Disability problem makes Unemp Insurance look like a paper cut. Literally every mofo that I have come across on disability has a MITT bumper sticker on their car. I'd like to hear the explanation.

I know, I sound limo, but I think it should be limited to 2Y. No cash bennies and continue Sec8 housing with diminishing benefits each year. No additional cash for popping out kids. Covers two max.

This is the thing about social safety nets. We can all be a hard ass and sit there and say it should be "three squares and a cot until you get a job" (this was Scat's comment months back on the subject). Then you spend some time in or around the poor - the real poor - and you see the humanity of it firsthand. You see what it makes them do, and how it affects the kids.

I don't have the stomach for it, honestly. I can rail about public spending, and conservative fiscal policy, and then my soul aches when I see the needing and hunger. I'm talking about the real folks that are in need. Not the populace sitting on their ass abusing the bennies.

I don't know where the middle road lies. There has to be some support, obviously, but there should be some significant restriction to it that is beyond what would ever pass in the real world. Something like, "if you're on government assistance for the better part of a year, you don't get to vote that year." The people can't keep voting themselves the ability to get paid for no productivity. It just can't continue or it'll take us all down with it.

While I agree with what you've written above, I find it in terribly bad taste for you to call another member here a molester. I was with a State Police agency moons ago, and used to investigate child molestations on occasion. I can ASSURE YOU, it's nothing to EVER joke about! I've seen things that really aged me... Moreover, I met luke in person once, and he's good to go. I'm still a brown belt in jiu jitsu, and bodybuilder long ago. I'd want to make sure I ate my wheaties before taking him on in a heads up bout. If I did have to take him on, I'd want to use what I know to quickly, and violently choke him out, then I'd head to my car rather quickly. Lol! You guys can pick on Luke all you want, but calling him a molester is OUT OF LINE, and if you did meet him in the ring (doubtful), I'd have a few $50's on Luke, no question.

I am NOT an athiest, but you have the right to be what you want... As far as gays getting married, I'm fundamentally against it, but my funny side says, "why can't they be absolutely miserable too?" LOL! Btw, I do think you should Man up, and apologize to Luke for the molester accusation. You can call names, but molester is WAAAAAY over the line. A mod edited the pic, but some of us saw it...

  8. I admit it's an anecdote and not representative (in isolation). Barring reparations (f*cking lol), all we can do is bitch. But don't sit there on disability and bitch about the poor. The hypocrisy is astounding and yes, the red states are the majority abusers -- because the populace is largely deeply religious, agrarian and uneducated (think Lucrum, peil, PHOENIX, pspr). There are no more jobs for dumb-shits any more... all been outsourced.

That's strange. Most people in Florida with common sense took their Mitt stockers off their cars out of fear that their cars would be vandalized by those touchy-feely, tender-hearted, understanding liberals. On top of that, you KNOW that the Obama voter is the one who abuses the disability system 100/1 what a Romney voter would...

  10. I edited the pic and I've never called the guy a molester. Yeah, I certainly don't think he's a molester. I'd watch his pets for any signs, however.
