Ok, lol. As far as my gal, it's not a bed of roses like your strange mind may be wondering. Eww! Anyhow, she's actually mad at me right now. We were supposed to go to the gym earlier, but she got hounded by her Nephew into going to the mall so he could buy new shoes. Whatever. I know how it goes with females, so I flow with it. After driving over to pick him up, and waiting 15 minutes, he came to the car, got in smelling like a skunk, and said, "benz is da shit..."

Needless to say, after taking him to buy some outrageously-priced tennis shoes, and his "saying hello" to his "buddies" (he was on the cell with the whole time), I was tired of risking my ass any further. She knows I had a Glock 30S clipped in my waist-band as it's dangerous here, and even worse if a WOP has a black gal for a g/f in the wrong place at the wrong time... Next time I mutter something in Italian, I'll exclude calling her Nephew finocchio. Apparently, she knows 'some' Italian.:(

I find it absurd that some posters on ET have no clue about history. The KKK has long been associated with the Democratic party and not Republicans. This includes today in North Carolina where KKK members have run for office as Democrats in the 2012 elections.

For those who don't understand this, please see my previous post to be educated with the full details.

Or just let me re-post it again here for educational purposes...

Go try a little experiment. Go out to the western counties in the mountains of North Carolina. Ask where the local KKK meeting is at. Go into the meeting and say that you are a Republican. --- You will be the next person hanging at the end of the rope.

Traditionally the KKK in the South has been made up of rural Democrats. This is an issue that extends into the modern day. We still have KKK members running as Democrats for public office in 2012. For the first time this year the state Democratic party in Raleigh disowned these racist candidates - North Carolina: Former KKK Member, White Supremacist Running As Democrats. Over the past 30 years, 13 members of our state legislature have had associations with the KKK, all of these were Democrats and none Republicans. Note that until 2010, the North Carolina state legislature always had a Democratic majority for over 100 years.

There is a long list of Democratic politicians that have been KKK members. Most on this list (like Senator Byrd) are from 1950 & later.

The KKK was founded originally by Southern Democrats to get rid of carpet-bagging Republicans and blacks in the South. Many blacks and Republicans were terrorized by the KKK. One example is the Wilmington Massacre. This has not changed greatly since the advent of "Southern Strategy" in the South. Rural Democrats in the South (uneducated, barely religious, drinking, trailers, Nascar, sex, on welfare, racist, KKK supporters) are very different than Republicans in the South (generally college educated, anti-alcohol, anti-sex, anti-evolution teaching, religious, working, racist, nice homes, professional).

  4. You cannot be serious.

I am aware it was founded by a group of Dems, and that they also targeted white Republicans. I'll use an analogy... stating that either the modern Dems (or KKK-period Dems) are all racist is analogous to stating that all GOP are predatory cake boys due to Larry Craig's proclivity for bathroom secks. Or that all white-progeny of slave-owners are similarly inclined.

GOP in the South are anti-sex? Asexual reproduction, perhaps? The Southern GOP are professionals, racists with nice homes? lol wtf, is it a language issue with you? I pray you're ESL.

Where do crop subsidies go you ask? To start with they go to terrorist groups.

Islamic group once tied to terror trial received thousands in farm subsidies, without growing crops
    http://www.foxnews.com/politics/201...-trial-receiving-thousands-in-farm-subsidies/

Let's take a look at a few articles...

Farm Subsidies for Nonfarmers May Continue as Lawmakers Deadlock Again
    http://www.nytimes.com/2013/09/10/u...may-continue-as-lawmakers-deadlock-again.html

"There are no farms in the city of Columbus, the capital of Ohio. Yet nearly 500 people living there received about $1.1 million in farm subsidies last year.

    They had plenty of company.

Far from the nation’s fields of wheat and corn, more than 18,000 people who live in the 54 largest American cities, including New York, Los Angeles and Washington, received about $24 million in farm subsidies last year, according to a report to be released Tuesday by the Environmental Working Group, a Washington research organization.

Known as direct payments, the subsidies are given each year to farmers and farmland owners whether they grow crops or not."

(Gee all I have to do is own land and NOT farm it and I can get crop subsidies while living in the city. What a deal. More at above url)

Billionaires Received U.S. Farm Subsidies, Report Finds
    http://www.nytimes.com/2013/11/07/us/billionaires-received-us-farm-subsidies-report-finds.html

The U.S. has few farmers. So why does Congress love farm subsidies?

Of course if you want to dig into the raw data all you need to do is go to the farm subsidy database at EWG.

I'm about to pull the $ trigger on the newest Glock 41. It's basically a "slimmed down" G34 long slide, on a G21 frame .45 acp. With TruGlo TFO's, this could be a heavy hitter. Glock white outline sights are total junk. Put some real sights on a Glock, and it's surprising what the ugly (which I love), things will do...

  8. Whoops. Fincher has received nearly $9 fcuking million in farm subsidies over the last 10 years. Let's extrapolate and assume a linear regression fit and the entire town of Columbus and the Fincher family are running neck and neck.

  9. Yeah, I like it but won't go back to single-stack even for CCW purposes. Great choice, though. Yeah, the stock Glock sites are plastic crap, but I choose to go stock as I could maintain targeting memory with any stock-Glock. Just don't buy that silly 380!

I live in North Carolina. It is clear you do not. You have no idea of the reality down here or the history.

As outlined in the articles there are still KKK members running as Democrats in our state in 2012. A good number of our Democratic state legislators were KKK members in modern years.

Obviously you have no sense of the social and political classes in rural Southern counties from your rant above.
