Anything can happen Overnight. You can get hit by blue ice falling from a plane, your car engine could throw a rod through your chest, the natural gas line that goes to your house could explode, you could be falsely convicted for murder... All these are possible but vanishingly rare events, in fact unlike the absurdity listed here theses actually have all happened. And yet we haven't banned airplanes, cars, or gas lines or decided not to try our best to stop murders and convict those guilty if it. As is the likelihood that a stand-up professional will suffer damages from a false accusation of sexual harassment due to a handshake or smile. What isn't vanishingly rare are instances of women suffering significant harm from workplace sexual harassment. What apparently isn't rare and is happening is blatant discrimination against women under the guise of these absolutely ridiculous (but possible!) scenarios that have literally probably never happened and would be exceeding rare if they did. If you're not advocating for the continuing actual very real harm to thousands if not tens or hundreads of thousands of women from sexual harassment because of fear of some fever dream reality where it's possible stand-up professional man has his life ruined by false sexual harassment claims stemming from handshakes and smiles, then what the heck are you advocating?
https://www.bbc.com/news/world-asia-india-42772918 https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Merrimack_Valley_gas_explosions The rod thrown through the engine and into your chest I have never heard of, but that does not mean it has never happened. And the point here is that yes, they are rare, but they can happen. In the case of this sexual harassment deal, it has been happening for a long time. Now with Social Media, it is being noticed more and reported more. Copycats will help perpetuate the issue. This is how memes start, man. When it comes to human behavior, the seemingly rare events become less rare by human osmosis.
So again I ask you, what are you advocating we do about the real harm that is happening every minute of every day as women are sexually harassed and now apparently discriminated against because of this irrational fear of what at this point is clearly a vanishingly rare (but possible!) event? With you logic we would never try to stop or punish any bad behavior from assault to murder, because its merely possible that someone could be falsely accused.
Nothing we can do, but avoid women at all costs as best to our ability in a public setting. https://www.bostonglobe.com/news/na...ual-assault/CZ8yw5LlsndbazEYDzKTcK/story.html I saw that video when it aired, and it was true. It was a simple mistake. Gone are the days when you bump into a woman in a crowded mall at holiday shopping time and it is no longer a simple, "Oh, sorry", but a "Help help I am being oppressed, harassed, I want full conviction for sexual assault!" Open your eyes, Sig. There is more happening around you than you know, and it is NOT going well. Without video evidence to back it up, and no witnesses, that guy would be in jail awaiting trial for a crime he did not commit.
Where the hell do you live? Because where i live women are not sexually harassed every minute of every day. There is no sexual harassment or rape culture in the West except for maybe when we import immigrants like what happened in Cologne a few year ago: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/New_Year's_Eve_sexual_assaults_in_Germany
First off, sexual harrasment and rape are two very different things. The video you posted, if it was experienced in a workplace, would constitute sexual harassment in nearly every case. Rape is a much more violent crime that involves penetration in most cases. Sexual harrasment is far more prevalent than rape. There were 99,856 cases of forcible rape in the United States in 2017 (https://www.statista.com/statistics/191137/reported-forcible-rape-cases-in-the-usa-since-1990/). That's one every 5 minutes. So yes, sexual harassment happens every minute, or if you want to split hairs let's just agree that it happens at least as often as forcible rape so once every 5 minutes. An it's not coming from migrants, but nice to bring the racism in to live alongside the sexism! Why am I not surprised.
You work in an office setting in 2018 and there is banter back and forth. If harassment is increasing it can also be attributed to the ease Accusing someone.
From the first line of the article "A New York woman became the subject of ridicule and hatred on social media after she falsely accused a boy of groping her while she was shopping inside a deli." Doesn't sound like a world trending in your direction of impending doom to all the poor cowardly men. And again, it's pretty damn inconvenient but you just can't seem to justify why the remote chance that someone will lose their job over a false sexual harassment claim means we should ignore sexual harassment but that doesn't apply to any other crime or banned workplace behavior. My eyes are open. I see the very real damage being done to women every day that is a continuation to harm that has been going on for decades, of which I've seen plenty in the last 25 years. You clearly could give fuck-all about that with some kind of irrational incel ideology that makes you the victim of some vanishingly unlikely event. Your loss my friend, as I said before.
Its not about sexual harassment in the workplace. Its about power. The feminists who push this agenda don't care about equality or wage gaps or harassment, they won those rights decades ago, they still use these things to gain further power in the workplace and it is the fedora tipping white knight men like yourself that are letting them get away with it.
