Wall Street and the United Nations welcome doomsday homeless guys?

A homeless guy, carrying a sign that says "the end is near", "repent before it's too late".

A common sight in many streets, yet you will find similar guys saying at conferencies in Wall Street, UN, politicial speeches.

From global warming, to terrorist attacks, to upcoming recessions, are we flooded by doomsday prophets?, even if they aren't homeless poor guys?
