I'm on the northwest side. Let me know. Although my max buyin would be around $500-$1000. Which is probably on the low side of what you guys are thinking.
South Barrington, actually (I detest crowded places)... but I'll drive into the city for a good game.
Park Ridge here--can't host this weekend but will keep in touch and we can get a game going. Take Care-
<i>"Park Ridge here--can't host this weekend but will keep in touch and we can get a game going."</i> --->Great! Let's do this... for real! Which city, Naif? NY or Chi?
I can do NY. If it is in Chicago, my apologies.. i must have read the thread wrong. I just read that the buy ins are $500-$1000? I'm a profitable trader, but still a small time trader lol.. $200 is very doable for me, maybe $250. if it's higher, hopefully in another 3 months or so, I can join in. To be honest, as much as making some wins on the table would be nice, im more interested in attending for meeting the traders.. from what it looks like, there are some good, interesting people on this thread so far.
RM, you wouldn't be hustling these youngsters, would ya'? It's worth a C note, or two, just to play with a pro like yourself. If buy in is less than 1K, count me in.
My gut feeling is that even if I posted about this 20 times, I still wouldn't be able to fill <b><i>half</b></i> a table with guys willing to put down three grand or more. (You're all welcome to prove me wrong!) Incidentally, I haven't been dealt a single hand of poker in over three years. Once I realized that the days of taking easy money from fresh juicy fish online were gone, I immediately ran for the exits. BTW, speaking on a lifetime basis, I'm actually net negative playing live (not online) games.
