Well some prop firms (and retail firms AFAIK) charge "all in" commissions. .002, .001 whatever and they (the firm) absorb the costs of wherever the order is sent (specialist(ISI, OES, NYFIX), INET, ACRA etc.) Other firms will charge a per share commission and pass through the fees associated with the trade. eg. mksumny gets charged .0005 by OES to execute trades on NYSE to the specialist. I'm not sure if he pays per share commissions to his firm or not. (he might get charged X$ per trade...) I hope that made sense. If not I can try again.... mnx
I'm assuming you're asking what does LFT mean and not (where did you loose the money??) Loss from top means just that. How much you lost from the top (or high) of your days net total. So if my net is 880$ right now, and I have a $124 LFT that means the high of my day is $1004. Have a great day. mnx
well after eating at OLive Garden lastnight and getting food poisoning from the calamari, I managed to pull myself up from a great night of puking and trade this morning. Im going back to bed but here is what I made in 1 1/2 hours of trading.
Hehe, I bet because they let people draw with crayons on the table. But seriously, the only way to get rich is to spend less then you earn.
Olive Garden is the ass crack of restaurants. I wouldn't give my dog leftovers from that dump. That being said, great job mksummny. Hope you're feeling better soon.
I have to stick up for the OG - but all I have ever had there is the soup and salad for lunch. Always good. Times Square, 12:30. See you there.
The open looks bad for my shorts. CLF and X are both up a bone premkt on positive comments. If CLF breaks 61.3 i`ll cover on a stop. Took a short in the Q`s yesterday afternoon @ .09...will be buying them back on any weakness below my price. Overall the week has been good. Made about 18 points in WFMI and BOOM combined. Everyone have a great holiday!
