im taking off the rest of the day it was slow here on LU today so i didnt make much on LU

 

is there some reason you end up with odd numbers of shares like 81 .

 

Yes. I position size according to my distance from my stop. My initial stop is 3 times 63 day ATR. So if I risk $500 per trade and my initial stop is 9 point away I get 55.55 shares..i`ll round it down. I am sure my broker hates me.......but it works for me.

 

Got a good move on VC, should have added to it on the way up instead of pussing out. Been trading RIMM like shit lately - its been faking me out for the entire week.

Still holding a base position in VRTX. Sold ADBE in after hours yesterday for a good gain.

 

9,500 shares traded. not exactly setting the world on fire today, but it's like i always say.. it beats actually working for a living.


and it'll extend my little green streak to 5 days.

took some huge hits around 3, covered most of that as 4pm approached... phew...

goldman and the Q's rallied nicely into the close. turned out to be a pretty good day after all. 13,200 shares traded.

What style of trading are you doing? Rebates? 1,2 mil shares? Damn, that's a lot!
