HOLY crap... the new rankings on interactive brokers has a guy at $469,000...... all I can say is WOW... is that a typo or something? Did the guy load up all of his mony in nq puts or something??? Also the guy who as at +141,000 last week seems to be off the list now... wonder what happened there

He probably took a highly leveraged position in futs (100k=20+ cars per, your choice of index). Given the volatility of the indices over the past week, it's concievable to see how he doubled his money, and then doubled it again. how can i buy futures with ameritrade? i don't understand,... yewa, if you saw how oil fell, i see with futs ok, so i really need to get into options and futures... i dont know if i can buy them with ameritrade. time to intern at goldman sachs!
princeton, You may want to watch out for those futures.... yea you can make a lot fast, but you can lose a lot faster...... Its not for the undercapitalized........
