"W" pattern and "WM" pattern

    Do you think this is a valid "WM" pattern?

  2. A W is a bottoming pattern.

    An M is a topping pattern.

    What you have here is an upwardly-trending channel.
     
  3. No. The "W" and "M" should be "taller", i.e. more volatile.
     
  4. That looks like a double V... and double A...

    Wait... more like an N... Q... O... P... B... C...

    hold on...

    It must be a series of "/" and "\"...

    Forget the fancy pattern names and just look at the price.
    You have rising pivots ( both top & bottom) therefore you are in a long market.
    You are making this game difficult.
