Biden: GOP Strong Enough To Beat Obama In 2012

    Thursday, 06 Oct 2011 02:55 PM

WASHINGTON (AP) — Vice President Joe Biden says the Republican Party is strong enough to beat President Barack Obama in the 2012 election.

During an appearance Thursday at the Washington Ideas Forum, Biden said a significant majority of the American people don't believe the country is moving in the right direction. And he says that is never a good place to be going into re-election, regardless of whether it is the current administration's fault or not.

However, the vice president says he's counting on voters recognizing how deep the recession was and how much the economy has improved under the Obama administration.

Still, Biden acknowledges that the shaky economy has left many Americans in "real trouble."

How much the economy has improved??? LOL!!! Yeah, like the unemployment rate going from 7.5% under Bush to 10.3% under Obama. Oh but wait, Obama promised that when Stimulus #1 was passed for $850 billion, unemployment would never go higher than 8%. LOL!!!! We now have a 9.1% unemployment rate, so Oduma wants Stimulus #2 for $450 billion. What's the next promise if this one is passed? Unemployment not going above 11%? LOL!!!
