  1. I agree. She is not answering what she is asked but what was written for her and what she was told to say, just like her Katie Courics interviews

Biden actually knows what he is talking about

And Joe Biden is doing what he does best. Blow hot air, much of which is preposterous.

  3. Both are doing better than I expected.

Biden started off a little shaky but has landed some solid blows, whereas Palin seems robotic but has not made any major gaffes.

Biden is the better debater, but considering that he has been a senator--the US equivalent of a public orator--that is to be expected. Palin has less experience, obviously, but has done OK, considering her lack of experience.

  4. Palin sounds like somebody with some vision, Biden souhds like a party hack, probably because that is what he is.....

  5. BTW, is this board like 80/20 liberals or are you guys just more vocal?

    I'm guessing the latter.

  6. Palin: John McCain is a real American hero, maverick old boys network, drill baby drill and other meaningless phrases.

Joe Biden gives a more detailed description of issues. And he can pronounce nuclear properly which seems like a real issue among republicans

  7. Palin a little shaky at the start, but fought back to even during middle rounds. Biden has taken the last couple, but only on points. No devastating blow yet. This ends up as a draw it completely takes the incompetency issue off the table. Dems will have to find a different strategy.

  8. Maverick, this, maverick that, geesh.

    OK, we get it.

It's as if Palin was given a list of emotional hot button words and key phrases to stick in whenever she cannot think of something original. Like a WWE wrestler would.

And Biden keeps going back to Bush, as if Bush is running for a third term. But at least when Biden does, he is more able to articulate a detailed response without the same catch phrases.

  9. McCain is no different than Bush right now. He used to be a long time ago but now he is the same thing on major issues. Tax Cuts, the war, foreign policy BUSH III!
