The BI article is misleading and total bullshit. Furthermore, the inference in libtard media is that there was essentially no systems in place or any governmental agencies to protect the US from infectious diseases. That they told Trump that there may be one and he did nothing. The entire premise is complete bullshit. What do the CDC and NIH do? How long have they been around? Was absolutely nothing done wrt to protecting the US against diseases before Trump and this was a novel threat that was never addressed before in the history of the US?

    From BI article:

Dr. Anthony Fauci, the US's leading expert on allergies and infectious diseases, has warned that the coronavirus, which causes a disease known as COVID-19, is uniquely insidious because it is a respiratory-borne illness that spreads easily from person to person and has a high degree of morbidity and mortality.

By the end of January and beginning of February, a majority of the intelligence contained in Trump's daily briefings was about the coronavirus, the report said.

Fauci quote from interview on 1/21/20:

Dr. Fauci: Obviously, you need to take it seriously and do the kind of things that the CDC and the Department of Homeland Security are doing. But this is not a major threat for the people of the United States. And this is not something that the citizens of the United States right now should be worried about.

A google search is not finding this, can you provide the source please? I'm not saying it is not a correct quote just odd it does not show up and it is important to read the full context.

It is bringing up this: (Jan 31st)
    https://www.whitehouse.gov/briefing...ng-members-presidents-coronavirus-task-force/

DR. REDFIELD: Thank you, Mr. Secretary. Let me give you an update on the current situation of the novel coronavirus. First though, I want to emphasize that this is a serious health situation in China, but I want to emphasize that the risk to the American public currently is low. Our goal is do all we can do to keep it that way.

Apparently, we need to fire all these motherfuckers because, according to libtard media, they don't even exist.
