Trump has not done anything illegal..he just was slow to respond and made stupid comments. Task force was set up beginning of February and he was fine if he shut up and stepped aside and let the experts make decisions. After the fact second guessing can easily find things we all could have done better..you know like Pelosi AND Cuomo telling people to go out in crowds and share with people crowded situations. But doing hearings in this way is just going to burn them in the ass. Now is not the time unless Pelosi is willing to answer questions as to why she did not take this seriously in February.
you're likely right...though my hope is this at least scares away any profiteering or further endangering by the admin feeling cavalier in playing favorites w/the states. I'm not remotely hopeful of anyone being brought up on 'gross negligence' charges or something.
Exactly. The "honor system" doesn't work that well with self-dealing, unruly punks. I have full faith in his experts, but not in him.
Benghazi!!! Can never go too low on insinuations with Trump and his goons, hence the need for oversight. This ain't your grand dad's presidential administration that didn't need a baby sitter we're talking about. https://www.propublica.org/article/...plies-it-requested-while-other-states-did-not Here’s Why Florida Got All the Emergency Medical Supplies It Requested While Other States Did Not ^^gives fair assessment of perceived "favoritism" https://www.mercurynews.com/2020/03...n-gov-says-supply-orders-are-being-cancelled/ Coronavirus: Michigan Gov. Gretchen Whitmer says supply orders are being cancelled Whitmer’s comments came after she said in a local radio interview earlier on Friday that the federal government has been told not to send medical supplies to Michigan. The Federal Emergency Management Agency did not immediately respond to CNN’s request for comment on Whitmer’s statement.
People expecting petulant children to behave like professional adults....what will redhats think of next?
