I'm a Republican but anymore, when I hear the term "small business" my stomach churns.. small business complains about taxes and regulations and hires Illegals to produce low quality garbage.. and now they want the public to take on the health care costs of their employees.. while they get wealthy, make no mistake, a lot of these grubby looking small businesses are producing some surprising wealth for their owners.. I know a few, big houses, etc.. one paid cash for a new building for his whole manufacturing operation... some of the biggest trouble makers and flunk outs I went to school with back in the day started small businesses, some because they could not possibly cooperate and get along with people well enough to work for somebody else.. and one was retired at forty, others just were amassing fortunes in real estate on the side, they had so much cash they had to do something with it.. and all of them complaining about employees, laws, taxes, all the way too... it's their inside joke maybe, complaining about how bad they have it...
You can't continue to have a business and pay a cost that increases at multiples of the inflation rate every year. Simply impossible. Cannot be done. Passing something that would relieve health care costs would be a huge boon to businesses of all sizes.
