Opt777 every time you post that i laugh my butt off! gordo, i do believe you are jealous of super ego. is it because he can trade and you can't? hehe. i do have one other vote for my slogan, maybe SE"s?
Since my (outstanding) suggestions didn't get picked (what is up with the Academy ???), the first choice is the best. On a serious note, it expresses the benefit of the site to a target audience. The others, while good, are too close to trader jargon. Expanding the phrase to further qualify active traders would be more beneficial. Any person reading the phrase, which may appear on search engine results, etc. would have to be able to discern the exact purpose of the website ... "The #1 Site For Active Traders" ... active traders of what? Stocks, options, futures, forex, baseball cards, porno? What? One could expect the audience viewing advertising to be pre-qualified (ad in a financial rag/paper, website, keyword searches), however this is a dangerous assumption. All qualification of the target audience (active traders of the financial markets) should be clearly stated in the website headline ... The #1 Site For Active Traders Of The Financial Markets The #1 Site for Active Traders Of Wall Street and Beyond you get the idea ... ok, time for my medication
The best tagline is part of Gordon G's signature... Elite Trader.com... "because a fool and his money are lucky enough to get together in the first place" Hahahaha
since i know everyone's dying to know, i voted for, "The #1 Site For Active Traders." what can i say..i have good taste.
I like it the best of the choices, but the redundancy doesn't quite flow... also (a) while "traders" is used twice including the name, it doesn't say "traders of what", and (b) probably don't need "site"... the ".com" already says it's a site. How about "Elite Trader.com... #1 for Market Players"? or "Elite Trader.com... #1 with Market Players" or "Elite Trader.com... 1st Choice With Market Players" or "Elite Trader.com... 1st Choice of Market Players" ... or, were we doing this part yesterday? (I wear XXL, thank you.)
