I think, given enough time, we might be able to nominate an inanimate object, like a Log. Most people, given the chance, would vote for anyone who promised bupkis and delivered. VOTE LOG, 2012! In any event... VOTE OBAMA THE HELL OUT.

BTW, president or no president, a government official that threatens the fundamental principles and values of this nation is guilty of treachery and of being a traitor, and a strong case may be made that it is morally legitimate to bring on the demise of such an individual.

Sure the sitting president has a huge advantage for one. To win a national election a canidate has to get votes from the center and independents and right now the republicans are excluding everyone except the far right and the loyal right. And it also helps to get some democrat and liberal votes. The republicans are calling anyone who disagrees with them socialist, communist, Marxist and even worse names, it's hard to call someone names and then expect them to support you. So in my opnion the repubilicans will have a hard time defeating Obama. Any improvement in the economy will make this much harder.
The wild card in the election will be the tea party. If they run a third party canditate then Obama is a lock to win. Perot probably cost Bush 1 the election and Nader cost Gore the election and tea bag Betty will cost Romney the election. Just a thought.
