Trade Stocks that ... 1) Average true range over the last two days greater than 1, dont view long term ATR calcs as you want stocks that are HOT NOW ! 2) 1 Minute bars and volume must be FULL...ie 20,000 shares traded regular. 3) Goto www.realtimetraders.com , "before the bell" and or "watch list" or www.briefing.com and view gappers and movers, for stocks for HOT news for current trading day. 4) Keep a list of HOT stocks with very fast daily bars patterns, like currently TASR, MAMA, RIMM, AAPL, ADBE, RHAT...as good intra days may be likely in the future. 5) Build a scanner 6) Find stocks that rally while INDEX fall, I prefer to go LONG only. 7) Never trade index. 8) Watch the $VOLD in esignal, that AdvDec volume measure, NOT price, volume over all stocks is there real trend.
