Anyone watching CSCO today.....volume on Feb 17.50 calls is at 4000 and its not even 11:00AM. This would be a huge move in three weeks to accomplish. I doubt its someone hedging short positions, because the 15.00 strikes would make much more sense for only .10 more and stepping up a spread of 2.50. Wondering if anyone out there is playing CSCO ahead of earnings today??

Might be worth it to look at open interest to look for shrinkage. (if available) could be some fund was short them 3 months ago and just covering
I'm watching this clzr that Kernon broke out yesterday. Thinking of taking it long for a swing here around 9 bucks. only one analyst follows the darn thing and it was breaking out before the cnbc spike. Long here nickle off of low of the day. long gold stocks (as usual). shorting GS here at 68 ish.
i know..the dramatic 24 hours suspense...we really will not know until tomorrow and noting todays open interest to see if there is a genuine increase in contracts......
if you are in a bearish position on CSCO or the indexes then the risk/reward has moved against you, and this is a good time to hedge.
